The Vogue folks are going to experience a bitter reality check… If they get 10 subscribers they can count themselves lucky!

This is from her review in June w016 for this
“UPDATE: Vogue has confirmed that there will be at least 3 physical gifts all subscribers will receive in addition to the clutch throughout the year.”

Vogue needs to review what is in “fashion” with subscription boxes. This is a lame, over hyped and way over priced sub they are offering. The value is just not there for the $200 cost.

Wrapping paper, notepad and calendar would be great in say a $20 box or maybe as extras to a box full of lux possibly exclusive items.

First thing that came to mind was the “Oprah” subscription…not sure why, but it did.

Wow! Shutterfly frequently offers personalized notepads for FREE. Geez. this has now reached the point where they are just insulting our intelligence.

I have to agree with the other commentators that the additional paper products are not cutting it. Will there be any other perks or is this the extent? The clutch is gorgeous but I would need one other substantial item to even consider it.

Vouge is an awesome magazine but this seems pretty out there. And including another 6 month gift subscription as one of the additional perks when a 6 month gift sub comes with the initial sign up is redundant and boring. The clutch is gorgeous but if they are trying to convince more people to sign up, they may have better luck by including more than a notepad, calendar, and wrapping paper. Something more along the lines of a nice scarf or piece of statement jewelry like a necklace or a bangle would probably go a long way in convincing more women to pull the trigger on this.

I like Clare v thanks to my Popsugar Neiman Marcus box. But for $200 they have to give me 2 Clare v s. You can get 1 year of vogue on Amazon for as low as $5 a year. I got it before.

You can also get a year’s subscription to Vogue for free through the (free) sample site Pinch Me . . . eventually. I’ve received several free magazine sub offers this year as a “make-up gift” when Pinch Me doesn’t match a sample box to my profile. They send you a link / code to sign up for one of about 10-12 magazine options, and the subscriptions start mailing out in 4-6 weeks. I now have Vogue, InStyle, Wired, Allure, Entertainment Weekly, and Glamour subscriptions – all free through Pinch Me.

Haha, I have several as well from Pinch Me…they never have samples for my profile and that is fine by me lol

Is it $200 for a year, to include the above listed items? I’m not understanding how its supposed to work. For that price, I have to assume that’s not monthly!

It’s like Vogue sat down and said, “Let’s make a box, put one good item in it, fill the rest with stupid worthless crap and see if the idiot commoners will spend a premium because it’s ours!!!” *insert evil laughter and the Oprah theme music*
