I received an email the same day I got my box from the stylist who packed it for me, saying she forgot to include the letter, so she scanned and emailed it to me! I thought that was great.
BB Dakota Nicholson Faux Suede Jacket – Cost to Keep: $98
This jacket isn’t one I’d pick up for myself in a store but I actually really like it! It’s faux suede and very versatile. I also like the drape/open front more than I thought I would! The sleeves are a little short for me, though – they’re what I’d call “bracelet length,” but I just like my sleeves long. All in all though, I think this is a very flattering jacket!
7 for All Mankind B(air) Ankle Skinny – Cost to Keep: $179
I know that I love wearing 7 for All Mankind jeans, but not their prices. These are soft, buttery, stretchy, and have a fantastic rise to them. The length is an “ankle” length, but on me I felt like they just looked like they were too short, so I just cuffed them once and I like how that looks much better.
Here’s a peek at the back of the jeans and jacket! (and the top, which is pictured alone below)
Allison Joy Petra Layered Top in Ivory – Cost to Keep: $29.99 (regularly $48)
This top is light and breathable, and it has a lining layer so that it’s not super see-through! However, even with that, it’s still a little see-through, but not enough that I couldn’t wear it. I could wear this alone on hot days or as a layer under just about anything. The hemline is longer in the back, as well, as you saw in the previous photo. I want to love this, especially for the price (it’s on sale!) I just feel like it fits boxier than I care for. I’m still a little undecided.
Harriet Isles Laura Stone Statement Necklace – Cost to Keep: $48
I generally don’t wear statement necklaces but I love this necklace! I love the extra oomph it gives the outfit. I also love the pretty stones and colors of this.
Allison Joy Kali Sweatshirt – Cost to Keep: $39.99 (regularly $78)
This zip-up sweatshirt is great! I love the length, shape, and style. The only thing I’m not sure about is the color – I rarely wear this shade of pink! Had my stylist sent this to me in the grey or black version I would have had to keep it. I’m not sure about this one! I do think it’s very flattering, though, and really comfortable.
Here’s the sweatshirt zipped up – I love the design! So flattering.
Beachlunchlounge Bella Button Down – Cost to Keep: $39.99 (regularly $48)
I love the colors of this top, and the material is very soft. Unfortunately, something about the way the top and sleeves fit me just doesn’t work for me. This is a cute piece, though! And I don’t own much (any?) plaid, so had this fit me right it would have been great to add to my wardrobe.
Verdict: This Trendsend by Evereve delivery was so much more my style than recent previous boxes! I just feel like there’s something little about most items that keeps me from really loving them (sheer-ness, length, color, fit, etc). However, all in all, I thought this was a fun Trendsend! I loved the first outfit together – it’s something I wouldn’t have done for myself so it was cool trying something different. (Which is the whole point of having a stylist pick for you anyway!)
I also want to note: some of the pieces were on sale on Evereve’s website. When I’ve emailed them about this difference, they’ve said they’ll give me the website price (this does not apply if you walk into a local store and see an item on sale for that location – they don’t price match store sales). I would just suggest double-checking the website’s pricing before sending your items back to make sure that, if something is on sale, you can email or call and confirm you get the sale price.
