Trendy Butler is a men’s apparel subscription. They send out quality items from both brands you know as well as up-and-coming brands. Every delivery is guaranteed to have at least $150+ in value.
If you’re not familiar with Trendy Butler, here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items to keep! This is not a shopping service like Stitch Fix where you pay for whatever items you don’t send back – it’s just $65, and whatever they send is yours forever.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Kinetix Hooded Tee – value: $78
This tee is great! It’s a nice long style, too, which is fantastic since one of Luke’s major general shirt gripes is that they’re too short on him. The only thing that’s weird about it is the hem is rounded and tends to bunch oddly. Luke said that he’d probably fold the rounded hem under and make it more straight across to avoid weird fabric bunching. A minor gripe, though, really. This shirt is kind of different from what he normally wears so it’s nice having that little tiny push out of his comfort zone!
Tailor Vintage Men’s Reversible Seersucker Short in Stone/Navy – value: $98
These shorts are fantastic! They’re reversible so they can look like the khaki that Luke is wearing in this photo, or they can have white/blue vertical stripes (both looks shown below). Luke will pretty much never wear the striped side, but the reversible design makes the shorts a little thicker than usual, and they really feel well-made and high quality. (And who knows, maybe one day I’ll talk him into wearing the stripes!)
Here’s both sides of the shorts. I think they’re really cool and pretty stylish!
Verdict: Luke is happy with this month’s Trendy Butler delivery, and I like it, too! The value adds up to about $176 from my estimates, which is awesome for a $65 sub! We personally wouldn’t spend $100 on a pair of men’s shorts (he just doesn’t care about his wardrobe as much as some men might), but I’d have to say that for this sub, if you would spend $65 or more (the cost of the box) on the items you get, it’s a win. And this is a win for us! It feels great to have my husband get and wear high quality menswear from this sub.
