Yuzen is one of the original eco subscription boxes. It’s a mix of spa, beauty, and the occasional food item, and everything is made with natural ingredients.

Each box comes with a fold out card that details the items and brands featured. For each item, they also let you know why they picked it for the box.

YuzenBox-032

Florapy Beauty Floral Therapy Facial Sheet Detox Mask - Value $8

I love that this sheet mask is fragranced with only essential oils! The Jasmine and Peppermint combination was very refreshing, and the mask was gentle and hydrating on my skin too. (This sheet mask took 15-20 minutes.)

YuzenBox-016

Aromafloria Feet's Sake Spa Foot Scrub - 2 oz Value $4.30

Another refreshing and minty item! This sugar scrub was an excellent exfoliator and perfect for ankles/tops of feet before applying self tanner!

YuzenBox-018

Nubian Heritage Coconut & Papaya Bar Soap - Value $5

This soap has a sweet, tropical scent, and the vanilla beans make it great for gentle exfoliating, too:

YuzenBox-028

pureSOL Konjac Facial Sponge - Value $8.50

I love these konjac sponges! They are so gentle but still always leave my skin feeling super clean and smooth.

YuzenBox-031

If you aren't familiar with konjac sponges, you wet it before using, and you can use it with or without a cleanser. When you're done, squeeze to remove excess water and then let it hang dry.

YuzenBox-027

ESLOR Herbal Soothing Gel - Value $42

This is a hydrating gel made with aloe vera. My experience with aloe vera from sunburns is that it takes a long time to dry, but this formula was really light and absorbed almost immediately. It's also something you can use every day - not just for sunburns.

Refreshing skincare items seems to be a theme for this box!

YuzenBox-025

Moondani Natural Breath Mist - Value $11.99

Breath spray that looks like the fanciest travel perfume! This is an unsweetened, natural breath spray, so it gets the job done and doesn't add any extra sugar!

But don't worry, there is sugar, too:

YuzenBox-034

Go Organic Hard Candies - Value $1

YuzenBox-037

These are vegan and gluten-free. (Delicious, too!)

Verdict: This box has a value of about $81. I think that's great for a $33 all-natural beauty and spa box, plus I pretty much always love everything Yuzen sends.

Yuzen box is my favorite subscription box. Thank you MySubAddiction for introducing me to this box of love! I like how it is quarterly. It is enough time for me to almost forget that I have it and then it always shows up at the best time. Plus the care to detail they put in makes it feel like a true gift for me!

I disagree with some of the other comments as I LOVE this box. All of these items are totally new to me and that is the reason why I subscribe – so I can have a curated box for a spa day at home! 🙂

I just got mine 🙂 Completely thrilled, there’s nothing I’ll give away and the items aren’t something I’ve gotten in other boxes

Wow this looks like an amazing box. I don’t think I’ll sub just because I know it’ll be a gamble if I like the next box or not, but it certainly might be something I’ll look for on Black Friday.

I usually love this box too, but there’s no wow factor in this one. Although, that usually changes once I get the box home & try everything in it. Last time I fell in love with the Emminence moisturizer & have been using it ever since, so you never know…

i Just subscribed to this box after reading the reviews. I like that it’s quarterly which helps alleviate the potential for product overload. I also like that they have unique items that is not in every box. Sure there’s some overlap but you’re going to get that once you’ve become an addict. 🙂

Nice box. I need to subscribe since the items from this box and past reviews are things that I would love to try. I also like that it’s quarterly.

I’m normally excited about the, but this one is not doing it for me this time. Maybe it’s just me, but the variety or something seems to be missing in this box?

No, I agree. This is usually my favorite box, and it was my first sub years ago. Are there fewer items than usual? I think that for the cost, the value just seems to be missing this time…or it’s pretty much hanging on the $42 eslor gel, which doesn’t seem that exciting to me. The breath spray is probably what I’m looking forward to the most – that’s not a usual item for sub boxes. 🙂
