Ipsy September 2016 Glam Bag FULL SPOILERS!

Ugh, I have been getting Ipsy for almost 2 years now, and its always a hit or miss for me. I got to see my bag the other day (its still out for delivery) and I wasn’t happy with it. Everytime I see a sneak peek from them, the site shows me a bunch of different things that will be in the current month’s glambag. I always see stuff that I really want to try out and get super excited, but when I receive my bag I never get the samples that I want, or I will get something that I really like but the shade is no good. If my October bag is anything like my September bag then I think that Im gonna cancel my membership.

Same old ugly lippie and yer another mascara. Im cancelling this bag. Ill keep my sephora play and birchbox. Way better quality of stuff

The bag design I feel isn’t that bad and usually the bag ends up looking better in person imo. Love the items in my bag this month and soooo glad I’m not getting another eyeliner lol. In my September bag I’ll be getting:

This is my first month that i will be receiving an Ipsy bag, and I already am so underwhelmed.
Before today, I was excited! But I got the email showing me what I will be receiving, and it’s making me re-consider my subscription. I’m getting nail polish in fuschia which I am so not into, a BB cream which is really not exciting, an angle brush which I have a thousand of (I would have been ok with receiving the eyeshadow one) , a conditioning mask for my hair (that’s ok i GUESS), and the tarte mascara – probably the only slightly thrilling thing I will receive.
*sigh*
Also subscribed to Sephora Play, if I’m not happy with their box this month (also my first one), I’m cancelling both and switching to Boxycharm which I probably should have just subscribed to in the first place.

Previously, I wrote that I was disappointed with this Ipsy bag but then I found out what I was getting in my bag and now I’m very excited.

I really like the September bag, the best one in six months, in my opinion. I like the sophistication of it. I followed some of the others advise and changed my age also, hopefully I’ll get my colors than cream, but I would really love one of the brushes. Can’t complain too much for $10/month. It’s a good deal and I’ve gotten some great items over the months.

I really loved the Mongongo lip balm in The August bag, best lup balm ever. I really hope to get the lip injection in the September bag. I am older and my lips could use some plumping, lol.

I really want that medium shadow brush. I need a new one badly. The bag is okay, not special. I think hitting fall so quick is what is sad to me. I miss summer everything. These sub boxes don’t realize none of us buy mascara because we get a few every month. I have my faves but I am just not that picky about mascara. One word of advice, I bumped my age down over 10 years and I finally like what I get. I was getting too much “age related” creams and repair “stuff”. Now I get fun makeup like, um, normal people.

I was seriously considering taking this month off from my subs but after seeing all of the awesome products this month, I don’t think I can. Plus I really like this bag. I think its very mature and stylish which is a nice change up from the more playful summer designs.

I really, really, really, really (really) want the Clarks Botanicals. I got the Marine cream back in the May bag and it turned out to be utterly fantastic. I wish I could afford to purchase all of their products ever made!! The only things I really don’t want are the Pixi lipstick, the ELF eyeshadow, the Living Proof or nail polish, unless it’s the Trust Fund. That color looks gorgeous and I’m a big fan of their formula. Everything else looks pretty great to me so Im feeling it will be another fantastic month.

Okay well I liked actually loved the bag last month, and it was the first time I actually got nail polish and to boot it was the first time from Julep I didn’t get nail polish and wanted one so I got nail polish regardless. I am okay with the bag, I love that it spells ipsy out with the girls arms, yes it does remind me of YMCA and cheerleading also but not in a horrible way. I would love love to try the Ecko Liquid Eyeliner, any of the nail polishes, no more mascara belonging to a few subscriptions I got my fill thank you very much. I would love the e.l.f. eyeshadow also I have only gotten a few and mostly all broken so here is hoping on that. I just started my sub in May of this year so I am okay with doing the reviews I actually prefer it with ipsy verses say Birchbox. I hate that I can’t just answer a few questions. Now for hair products I’m kinda overwhelmed lately with them so anything but hair stuff this month would be a blessing. Looking forward to my surprises that come to my door. Wishing everyone else all the luck with their wishes and wants, and cya later this month to talk about another sub I have and didn’t get what I want, which hasn’t happened too much!!

Ooooooh la la, my perfect bag here would be the angled brush, the hask hair product, the guava butter, the superhero mascara, and the lip injection!!!!! Fingers crossed! :O

If I get one more nail polish I may call it a day with Ipsy.✌?️✌?️✌?

Do your reviews ladies and you will get more of the products you want and less of the ones you don’t. If you don’t like the bag then give it away! You get 12 a year, there are bound to be some you love and some you don’t!

I resubscribed at 2:37 a.m. this morning and cancelled at 9:34 a.m. after I saw the bag. I would have been happy with any of the products, but the bags just get worse and worse. I cancelled my subscription originally in May. The only bags I had liked since Nov were Mar and Apr so I thought I would stop for awhile. I haven’t liked a bag since. I ended up donating 3 bags to the local ministry thrift shop. I liked the Aug bag, but ironically, not the makeup that was all over the bag. So I’m holding out til Nov since the Oct preview of the bag was just meh. Even though it’s only $10 I really want to like the bag, too. As a previous subscriber I can sign back up anytime. And, doing it this way really helps cut down on repeats.

I so want that bellapiere blush and no more mascara I am so sick of mascara, please let me get the lip injections extreme

i am not sure what everyone is hating ..this is a fun subscription its 10 bucks …if you want a personalized bag go out a buy a bag and 5 to 6 items and see if you can spend less than 10 dollars. Its hit or miss with IPSY …i always recycle and give away what i do not use …my friends are always grateful to receive.

sighhhhh. Lots of stuff I wouldn’t be excited for. I’m really close to the end with Ipsy, I think. They’ve messed up my points lately, sent me stuff I haven’t even looked at since I opened my bag for months. I just need some good points item to come up this month to use all my points and then I can unsub for a while. I don’t feel like I’ll regret it.

Now I’m glad I cancelled in June they have gone downhill most of the samples are small that did it for me when I got five of the tiniest samples and my friend received 3 full size products. I was done that pushed me over the edge and that bag is ugly. I hope you guys get the items you really want.

Thanks so much for posting the spoilers, I love it! Truthfully kinda on the fence about this months products, seems like an awful lot of skin care for a “Glamazon” theme, hmm.
Ideally I’d like to try the lip injection, Dr.G bb cream, Trust Fund polish, eye cream (am running low lol), green tea eye patches, Rodial hyaluronic tonic or a makeup brush would suit me fine. We shall see!
