Les Interchangables Beige Star Bracelet - Retail Value $35

OuiPlease_Summer2016-027

At first, I thought that this was the fanciest hair tie I've ever seen - but this is a bracelet. And it's a fancy one! It's made with Swarovski Crystals, stretch ribbon, and even the name tag is a luxe rose gold!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-029

Le Nereides Violet Charm Bracelet - Retail Value $60

OuiPlease_Summer2016-028

This delicate charm bracelet is made of hand enamelled brass, golden beads and a 14k gold-plated brass chain. I love that it's finished with an adjustable string closure, too.

Here are both bracelets on:

OuiPlease_Summer2016-037

I'm all about delicate jewelry - and these look perfect together in my opinion!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-038

Not an un-cute side to these!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-024

C. Lavie Serum Eclat - Retail Value $130

OuiPlease_Summer2016-025

This serum is designed to boost the production of collagen and help your skin maintain elasticity and firmness. It's a lightweight serum that absorbs quickly, and it smells so fresh and clean - I love it!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-007

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil - 30 ml Value $17.50

This dry oil is a cult-classic! I've received it in subscription boxes a few times, and I can definitely appreciate why it is so popular. It's great for giving your skin a sheen, and it can be used on your face, body, or hair - so it's an all-star multi-use product!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-012

Nailmatic Nail Polishes

OuiPlease_Summer2016-013

These are some very summery colors! I'm pretty much in fall-mode at this point, but I still love trying out new nail polish brands.

OuiPlease_Summer2016-017

Nailmatic Nail Polish in Lena - Value $14

OuiPlease_Summer2016-018

This nail polish is 4-free, and the formula is pretty impressive. I was able to get full coverage with only 2 coats.

OuiPlease_Summer2016-019

This is a Periwinkle creme with high-shine!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-014

Nailmatic Nail Polish in Dina - Value $14

OuiPlease_Summer2016-015

This is a classic cotton-candy pink creme!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-016

Out of the two shades, this is my favorite - I'm always drawn to classic colors with nail polish.

OuiPlease_Summer2016-020

Saisons D'Eden Le Creme de Beaute Revitalizing Cream - Retail Value $54 (On sale for $27)

OuiPlease_Summer2016-021

This cream is ECOCERT verified, and free of parabens, phthalates, and mineral oil. It's a rich creme that still absorbs pretty quickly, and left my skin feeling SO soft. I love the light scent, too.

This creme is designed to be used on your face and neck, but I think I'll use it on my hands, too!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-022

POMONE Paris Creme Jour & Nuit - 15 ml Value $19.50

Another face cream! This one is a decadent anti-aging face cream for day and night.

OuiPlease_Summer2016-023

Out of the three skincare products, this scent is my least favorite, but I still think it is pleasant - I'm really pleased with all the skincare selections in this box!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-035

Mille et une Fouta Towel - Value $25

This beach towel is made from 100% cotton and it is big! Perfect as an extra wide beach towel:

OuiPlease_Summer2016-036

It measures about 3 feet by 7 feet, and it's super light weight (Turkish towel material) so it's easy to pack in a beach bag, too.

OuiPlease_Summer2016-030

Boissier Paris Bonbons

This packaging is amazing!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-031

OuiPlease_Summer2016-033

Strawberry Bonbons - Value $12.50

These are phenomenal! The strawberry flavor is delicious and they aren't overly sweet.

OuiPlease_Summer2016-034

Lemon Bonbons - Value $12.50

It's hard to pick a favorite between the two flavors. The lemon bonbons have the citrus flavor without being too tart - but I think the Strawberry ones are the best!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-008

Herbes de Provence - Value $12

OuiPlease_Summer2016-009

No surprise - this herb blend smells wonderful.

OuiPlease_Summer2016-010

Oui Please also included a recipe for La Tarte a la Tomate to use these Herbes de Provence!

OuiPlease_Summer2016-011

Verdict: This box has an estimated retail value of $380. (I'm using Oui Please provided retail values for most of that estimate.) This is one of my favorite Oui Please boxes in a while! I'll use every single item, and while this summer-themed box arrived in time for September, it still is full of items I can use now.

I always feel like I got shorted, too (for those of you that felt the same way). I Didn’t receive the “real” bracelet (I DID receive the hair tie looking one), the second nail polish, or the bonbons. What gives? Is it because I bought the year sub using a coupon? My last box didn’t have what others did, either???

I received the same box as Liz with variations on the bracelets: the light blue interchangeables and the blackberry bracelet. I don’t really wear nail polish, but I love everything in this box!

Just received my box today and am very pleased. This was one of the best boxes that I have received and will use everything. Thank you OuiPlease.

I received the lighter purple nail polish (Lila) and would love to swap for the darker (Lena). If anyone’s interested, let me know 🙂

I didn’t care for the fouta but was able to trade that right away, so I’m pretty pleased with my box!

Did anyone receive the Les Nereides Couer de Fleurs necklace? I really wanted that…so much so that I actually bought it from the Les Nereides USA website. (Code HELLOFALL = 20% off!)

I got it! I also swapped for the violet bracelet, though I had to give up my Jaquard de francais towel to get it. The towel is gorgeous though and I kinda wish I hadn’t traded it if anyone wants to sell or trade for towel, let me know please.

Elizabeth

Oh lucky you!! Do you like the necklace? The pictures of it look so pretty. I hope it lives up to my expectations!

Although I always enjoy reading the reveal of this box, I am always feel it’s not worth the money to me. I don’t think I’ve liked a single piece of their jewelry (personal taste) and a lot of the other stuff seems considerably overpriced.

Reading everyone’s disappointment about their box doesn’t help me want it, either. For this reason, I think they’d do better giving a uniform box. If people weren’t posting their feeling of getting ‘the lesser box’ I think more would sign up for this box.

Krista

I agree with this one million percent. Honestly the retails on the skincare items always seem way out of whack to me and the jewelry is almost 100% uniformly never to my liking (across the life of the box, not just this one).

I find Luxe Provence to be WAY preferable.

I got a tea towel instead of the pomone but otherwise everything was identical. My towel is a pale aqua color. Not quite sure what to do with it but I think it would be a cute throw. Right now I have it folded in half at the end of the bed and it’s a cute contrast to my navy duvet.

Why 3 face creams?

I had subscribed to ouiPlease at the very beginning for one year, with a 30% discount from MSA, and am so happy I did not renew this sub. This box has some nice items though – I love the cute & happy candy boxes & the skin care items I would have appreciated, as well as the Herbs De Provence. The jewelry that ouiPlease would send was never my style or taste & I always ended up selling the pieces I did receive on eBay for a fraction of ouiPlease’s stated value. If I had gotten these bracelets, they’d have gone the same way. That towel reminds me of something Mother Teresa would have worn.

Me too. Although this box looks better than the boxes I received when I was a subscriber, I don’t feel it’s enough to sway me to re-subscribe.
It hated feeling like I got the short end of the stick whenever I see what others received in their boxes in addition to the lack of communication when shipments were going to go out.
By the time I received the box, I would usually be so over the excitement, I’d be feeling more resentful that any joy that usually comes with receiving is out the door.
I’ll save my money.
I hope all the subscribers love their box and that they don’t have to go through all the drama.

Liz,
Were there different styles of bracelet sent out? I really am not fond of the pink and purple but, I’m trying to decide if I want to buy this box today to get 30% off! Just wanted to see if maybe there is a chance I might get different colors on the bracelets. I do like the nail polish colors though! And your shoes LOL

Amanda

Just a heads up – I got a bracelet that has a small white owl on it, so you may not get either flower one.

Love this subscription ! I had forgotten to renew my annual for 2.3 but just signed up again and am so looking forward to the next box. I’m a fan of all their delicate jewelry pieces and think that both of the bracelets you received are beautiful.

What do you store in the boxes, Liz?

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

This looks like a really good box, I don’t subscribe, but those bonbons look delicious!

The towel reminds me of one we received a few months back in GlobeIn.

And I really like those sandles in the pic with the towel!

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Yes – the towel material is just like the Globe In towels!

And thanks for the sandals compliment! Kork Ease are my go-to platforms in the Summer! 🙂

nelliebelle1197

By the way, great new, modern profile pic for you!

Rochelle

Liz, is your towel a soft cotton? The material looks & hangs a lot differently than mine. My towel is paper thin, stiff, rough to the touch and has a weird feel to it …it’s hard to describe. It feels more like a water resistant coated polyester and definitely doesn’t absorb water. I only own two other Turkish towels but this is the worst towel I’ve ever felt. It’s more like a cheap tablecloth.
I wonder if they sent out cheaper towels in some of the boxes?
Did anyone else get a towel like I did?

Reply ButtonReply

nelliebelle1197

There were two different towel brands this month from what I can tell. You probably got the other one.

Reply ButtonReply

Claudia

Definitely two towel brands judging from the photos. Mine reminds of the treated napkins one sees in restaurants. The tow that are treated so they’re stain resistant but somehow those chemical make the fabric impervious to liquids. As I see everyone listing their contents I realize my box is short a few items and no, value doesn’t make up the difference. Very weird, very disappointing. In my 6boxes I never received a “special” item although we were told that those things would be distributed throughout. Not true for me!

Rochelle

Thank you @nelliebelle1197. I’ll bet that’s it. With Oui please, I always seem to get the ‘other one’ lol. I’ll have to check the brand if there’s a tag on my towel.

Liz Cadman

Oh no – sorry about your towel! It’s a thin material, but it isn’t rough. Maybe try putting it through the laundry and see if that improves the feel?

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

Liz our boxes are nearly identical! I received a bag of pancake mix instead of the Pomone Paris cream, but everything else was the same down to the exact two bracelet designs! This was my first Oui and I’m thrilled with it. No box envy which was my fear when I saw your review posted. So pleased I got the year’s subscription at the reduced rate which made this a true steal IMO!

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Yay! Box Twins! So glad to hear you loved the box too. It really is a great deal with the annual subscription + coupon!

Reply ButtonReply

Gloria

This box looks so great! I may have to get this box! But I’d really like to know where I can find your sandals, Liz!

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

They are Kork-Ease platforms – SO comfortable!! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Wendy

I love Oui Please! I agree with you Liz – this might be my favorite Oui Please box in a while, but I tend to find value in all of them. Perhaps I’d feel differently if I was with them from the beginning when they were sending out 1951s in addition to other nice French items ? However, each time I break down what I paid for each item, I’m never disappointed. Thanks for the great reviews Liz! (And the pictures you take of the items are truly lovely – I might have to buy the bonbons just for those vibrant tins!)

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

That’s a good point to do the breakdown of cost per item. I bought this subscription with a 30% coupon on an annual subscription – so the cost per item is a great deal to me!

So happy to hear you love Oui Please, too! 🙂

Traci

Wow, after seeing your box I now have FOMO….of course, I may not have gotten that one though lol

Those nail polishes are perfectly pantone Serenity and Rose Quartz colors of the year! 🙂

That’s a GREAT point!!
