satva-september-2016-cream

Lavender Rose Silk Luxurious Body Cream (2oz) - Value $8

This is a light, fluffy whipped body cream that reminded me of whipped body creams I have used before. I appreciate a body cream that’s light in texture and can still moisturize my skin. This product delivered just that. The cream has a faint scent and is not over powering. This is a must have blend of rose, lavender and cruelty-free silk.

satva-september-2016-brow-serum

Full Brow Serum (7ml/0.2oz) - Value $16

I was in need of a brow serum because over the years my brows have thinned. I have been using this serum for a couple of days and I have not seen a noticeable difference. As directed, I applied one drop to clean damp brows and messaged into my hair follicles, morning and night. I felt a slight tingle and itching sensation upon first use and on the second day it was gone. It claims to “strengthen and condition brows while stimulating growth and deepening hair color”. I look forward to seeing results as I continue to use this and will report back in the future of my progress. The “Satva Tip” says to add brow serum to an empty mascara bottle and apply to eye lashes. Upon reading product info on their website it indicates not to use on eye lashes. I’m not sure where Satva got this information but I will stick to the website’s recommendation.

satva-september-2016-mask

Instant Brightening Face Mask - Value $3.69

This organic pumpkin and Manuka honey face mask was refreshing and cooling to my skin. It actual brightened my face.

Aromatic Body Mist - Value $12.50

This body mist creates a calming and relaxing barrier that promotes focus and clarity. It’s lightly scented and is good for a yoga session or after a workout. There was a fine mist of essentials oils that evaporated quickly and didn’t dry out my skin. I used this as a quick pick me up and spritzed my pillows before laying down to sleep. I enjoyed it's pleasing effect.

satva-september-2016-face-glow

Face Glow (sample size) - Value $2.64 USD

Satva included this as bonus surprise. It has a shimmery effect that leaves a glow on your face and body. This can be used as a moisturizer, make-up primer, and highlighter. I was moisturizing to my face and I noticed a slight shimmer when applied.

Verdict: Once again I’m impressed with my September Satva Box, which has a whopping value of $42.83 - not bad! I received a lovely assortment of face and body products that are organic, paraben free, cruelty free and all natural. If you are seeking out natural products to try before you buy, I would recommend subscribing to Satva Box. This has become one of my favorite boxes!

I am unsure how the brow serum maker, who just put a few oils together, can make these silly claims about the product while keeping a straight face.

I think it would be a cool idea to do a side-by-side comparison between Satva & Petit Vour, like how MSA occasionally does between Birchbox & Ipsy (& Sephora?).

Good idea, Luna!
I will pass on to Liz.

I am in love with this box and the customer service is phenomenal! They even wrote me a handwritten thank you note! What a nice personal touch! For this sub box to be so new and already have such a high value I have to say I’m very impressed! And it’s all natural and cruelty free! Petit vour has got some stiff competition now!

I am over Petit Vour. One of my items was missing from my box this month. I emailed them, and they said that they needed to check the weight of the package with DHL and USPS and also pull their records of packaging- to confirm whether or not the item was missing. If I’m telling you it’s missing, that sucks you don’t believe your customer.

On a sunnier note, I love Satva Box! Amazing value and great customer service.

I’m on a mission to replace Petit Vour for this reason! They told me since the weight was in the normal range that there’s no way my box could be missing an item. It was beyond frustrating. I cancelled after that…. why would I want to continue to sub to a place that doesn’t believe me when I tell them I’m missing an item?!? So, I’m definitely considering this box!
