Note from Liz: I’m so happy to introduce the newest member of the MSA team! Welcome, Sara!
ShoeDazzle is a monthly shoes, clothing, and accessories subscription service. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices – almost everything is only $39.95 (or less) for VIPs. When you sign up for a membership, you complete a style profile. On the 1st of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want - either from your personal 'Showroom' or across the site. You can also skip the month. However if you don’t pick or skip, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.
This model is similar to how JustFab, Fabletics and AdoreMe work.

Nova Booties in Black - retail $62.95 (VIP price: $39.95)
Now that it's September, I'm officially in bootie mode! I was immediately drawn to this pair for a couple reasons: they are a neutral color, have interesting detailing, and the heels are under two inches. Pretty much the perfect recipe I look for when shopping for shoes and accessories.
ShoeDazzle provides outfit suggestions in each product's profile, but I thought I would show you a couple different ways I'm wearing these boots. I'm a pretty simple dresser typically in jeans, so I love accessories that are funky and different but compliment feminine silhouettes I tend to wear, like peplum tops. These booties have a standard shaft height but I probably wouldn't tuck my skinny jeans into them. Instead, cuffing allows me to show off the gold buckles and stud details.
Can you tell I love these boots? I am really impressed by the quality too. They are faux leather, but the satin sheen keeps them looking high quality. One thing to note is there is no side or back zipper to allow your foot to slip easily into the boot. Instead each buckle needs to be unfastened and then refastened once they're on, which although takes longer to put them on, is good that they can be adjusted to your preference.
On the weekends, I definitely dress more comfortably while running errands. The first time I put these boots on, they were a bit tight. I've since worn them two more times and have noticed they're stretching and now fitting true to size. The heel height is good too and I will definitely feel comfortable wearing them out and about during the fall and winter.
Here's a closer look at the gold buckles and strap details:
Verdict: This is my first box from ShoeDazzle and I'm quickly becoming a fan. I placed my order one evening and received a quality pair of shoes within three days! These booties retail for $62.95 and have a VIP price of $39.95, which I think is a great value for the quality and construction of this particular pair. I am looking forward to the new styles I'll discover next month.
