Each box comes with an information card listing the items included in the box as well as an encouraging monthly quote. This month they have a new logo design and card design, which is a small touch but I like it.

Chico Bag - Value listed $13.00

This is a durable and foldable reusable bag that will come in handy for my many trips to my favorite grocery store, New Leaf. I love the compact size and it fits nicely in my purse or I can attach it to my strap with the included clip. Plus, it holds up to 40 Ibs and is machine washable. I didn’t find the exact pouch design on the Chico site but there are many designs to choose from.

daBomb Fortune Telling Bath Bomb - $7.50

I’m not much of a bath person and bath fizzers don’t impress me, so I was eager to try. I held the bath bomb under water and it slowly dissolved turning the water blue, which brought me back to my childhood bath times! As the fizzer dissolved, a note appeared that said “Signs point to yes." You’re supposed to ask a question and the answer will be revealed once the fizzer dissolves. I thought of a question as the bath fizzer dissolved and it was cool to see this response appear.

Chewie Fruities - $3.99

These soft chews are flavorful and juicy, but really gooey. The blood orange & honey was extremely chewy and stuck to my teeth. The Meyer lemon & raspberry tasted more citrus than raspberry and the pomegranate & nectarine was gooey and sweeter than the other two flavors.

Soap and Paper Hand Cream in Verbena - $9.00

Wow, $9.00 for this 1oz hand cream! I don’t know if I would pay that since I wasn’t impressed with this hand cream. Although the cream relieved my dry hands, it wasn’t as moisturizing as other hand creams I have used. It was a wee bit greasy and is lightly scented.

Kitsch Long Necklace and Earring Set in Take Flight - $29.00

This 14k gold plated brass necklace set is diminutive in size. The necklace is too short for my taste (it measures 18 inches), but I feel this set would be appropriate for a pre-teen. I may search for a necklace extender and wear the earrings in my second hole on my earlobes. Subscribers either received the above set or the Unstoppable Necklace and Earring Set.

Staying Strong: A Journal - $12.31 on Amazon (retail price $14.99)

This paperback journal is inspired by Demi Lovato and has 240 lined and blank pages. It is a companion to her book Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year. The blank pages have a quote at the bottom picked out by Demi. This is perfect for working on my mindfulness practices.

Verdict: I have been enjoying the products from SinglesSwag and am pleased with their curations. The product selections have been creative, fun, and useful. I look forward to this box every month and check out their Instagram page to get more encouraging quotes! The September box has a value of $74.80, which is almost double the cost of the box.

I do like that they find unique and useful items. But I think that for the cost of the box they should guarantee a value of $100. Otherwise, it’s just not seeming worth it.

I cannot see paying that much for this box. No way. Love the idea but make it worth it!

As an ancient spinster (truly!) I rather enjoy a box that I feel is curated just for me, even if it really isn’t. I’ve never felt that the name or contents of this box implied that there was something wrong with me or my single status; to me, quite the opposite.

I find the name of this box insulting. This box could be for any demographic and implies single people are sad and depressed.

Agreed! As women it should not be implied that we are incomplete being single (and unhappy about it!).

I’m with you on that! I seriously can’t think if one item that is only geared to a single person. I did like the way the design on the bag and lotion were the same.
