BAM! Shirt - Value $15?

This month's shirt is a callback to classic comics. Comic book fights used to be littered with BAMs and POWs - this is a fun shirt for comic readers.

The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon Vinyl Idolz - Value $17 on Amazon

YES! Against all odds, this is my first-ever Vinyl Idolz figure - and what a great one to start with, Daryl Dixon!

the-collectors-case-september-2016-6

These are a lot taller than I thought they'd be - which is a good surprise - they stand 8" tall! Luckily my room is too full for me to start collecting another vinyl figure - Must. Resist. Buying. All. The. Things.

DC Superman Funko POP Vinyl Figure - Value $8 on Amazon

They also include a POP! This is the classic Superman look, it's one of the earlier POPs as well.

This is a duplicate for me - but I think you can see how far Funko has progressed with the detail on their latest POPs by looking at this - they have so much more detail in all areas of the figure.

They included a bonus POP for some lucky subscribers - did you get one?

Big Bang Theory Autograph - Value ?

Another possible bonus item this month was an autographed 8x10 - I was lucky enough to get this bonus item, and I got a Simon Helberg autograph from The Big Bang Theory.

Batman Rebirth #1 Batman Day Edition - Free

This is a special edition reprint of Batman Rebirth #1 printed for Batman Day! I've been following this storyline, and I must say it's been a bit disappointing so far, I miss the start of the New 52 Batman - that really got me back into comics.

Batman: Lover Letter Game - Value $15 on Amazon

You could have received a Batman or Archer version of this Love Letter game. This is a fast-paced card game that can be played quickly. Round up all of Gotham's most wanted as Batman!

Marvel Dog Tag Trading Cards - Value $8 (based on 4 pack value)

We received 2 packs of Upper Deck Marvel Trading Cards.

Each pack contained 3 cards and a dog tag. I used to collect Marvel cards when I was younger, so this definitely brought me back a bit, especially since the cards themselves the look of my cards from the 90s.

Big Bang Theory Cards - Value $5-8?

I couldn't find the value of a single pack of these, only for full collections or rare finds. Each pack included 5 cards and the possibility of getting autographed and wardrobe cards.

Here are the cards I pulled - no special cards in my set, did you get any?

Cardfight Vanguard/Luck & Logic Fanbook

This is a two-sided book, Luck & Logic on one side (shown above).

Cardfight Vanguard on the other.

While I'm not a player or a fan of either card game - this would be a cool item if I was.

Verdict: This was a great month of The Collector's Case for me! As soon as I saw the Vinyl Idolz figure, I knew it would be! Combined with a great shirt and a POP, the value was there for me - and they definitely come in over their $60 value promise. This subscription is definitely best for the card collectors and card gamers out there - so if you're looking for a box in that area of fandom, this is the one.

Not a lot I’m into, but definitely a good value. I’ll probably pickup the next one.
