Geek Me Box does have themes - October's theme was 'October Fest'. It doesn't come with an information card or any information on the items included.
90's Toon Throwdown Shirt - Value $15?
The shirt this month featured a lot of my favorite animated characters from the '90s! Darkwing Duck!
It feels like the perfect time to include this:
Yellowjacket Wacky Wobbler - Value $7 on Amazon
There were a lot of Funko items in this box - so you know I was excited. The first was from their Wacky Wobbler line, which are larger bobbleheads.
They stand about 7 inches tall and are hollow plastic.
They aren't my favorite line of Funko items, but they do have good detail and the box has a little extra information about the character.
Goonies ReAction Figure: Mikey - Value $9 on Amazon
The next Funko item is one of two ReAction figures this month. The first one is Mikey from the Goonies!
He comes with the key to all the money problems of Astoria, Oregon!
I can almost hear Cyndi Lauper when I look at all the characters!
Predator ReAction Figure - Value $7 on Amazon
This is the maskless version of the ReAction figure.
Predator has all of his toys and gadgets on his arms. I love the blaster on his shoulder.
Here's a look at all the different Predator figures in the line - I hope to get the Invisible version in a box some day!
Planet of the Apes Mini Model - Value $21 on Amazon
The last item is a miniature model set from the original Planet of the Apes' most iconic scene - the Statue of Liberty on the beach!
We had a blast putting this little thing together - complete with real sand.
It also comes with a mini booklet with a lot of movie and character facts.
Verdict: There's a good value for a $30 box. While there was a theme, I can't actually see how the items tie into that theme - so it might be a little riskier than other geeky boxes. But, 3 Funko items is always awesome for me - and the non-Funko items was really fun this month as well - overall, I liked all the items this month.
