kidpik is a new seasonal clothing subscription for girls. You can either choose to receive a one-time trial box, 1 box per season (4 per year) or 2 boxes per season (8 per year). All the pieces are really well-made, and the designs are unique to kidpik. I think the easiest way to think of kidpik is that it is essentially Stitch Fix for girls, but with no styling fee. kidpik designs and produces all of its own apparel and accessories.
Our first kidpik review was of a Spring box as personalized for my younger daughter. Our second kidpik review was of a Summer box personalized for my older daughter. Both of my girls loved their boxes and kidpik was kind enough to send each girl her own personalized box for Fall 2016!
F is my 5 year old daughter on the left. M is my 8 year old daughter on the right.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Box 1
Let’s take a look at M’s box first.
When you sign up, they ask for your girl’s name and use it to personalize the box for her. This box was styled for my 8-year-old daughter and I just used her initial. Usually, the girl’s first name will be included here. My daughter was especially excited this whole box was just for her!
When you first sign up, you fill out a style profile for your girl. It is fun and easy to complete. And accurate. If you want to see details about this, please check out our review of the Spring kidpik box here. Both of my daughters are very girly, love dresses and most colors, and I rated each of them a 10 out of 10 on the question about how much your girl loves sparkles.
Ok, let’s see what we’ve got! (This box was styled based on our preferences so what you receive could be totally different.) Looks interesting!
There are a couple of different bags.
Inside one of the bags was a beaded bracelet that you can keep regardless of how many clothing items you decide on. What a fun gift! Both of my girls love bracelets. My oldest daughter just recently had an emoji-themed birthday so she was especially excited. We are off to a great start!
The next bag is reusable as a drawstring backpack.
Romela Bootie Kids - Price $29.50. (Keep All Price $20.65)
When I first saw these I thought, Wait, are those rose gold!? Why, yes, they are! kidpik is definitely on top of what is in style now. I like that the soles have some grip to them. Everything in this box is excellent quality.
My daughter is obsessed with these booties! She wants to wear them every day now. (And my husband had fun taking photos of them and lots of other items in these boxes.) They are fabulous!
Rhinestone Bracelet - Price $4.50. (Keep All Price $3.15)
As I mentioned earlier, my girls love bracelets so my daughter was very happy to see this. Her wrists are pretty slim and it is a little big on her so she pushes it up her forearm slightly to keep it on when she wears it.
LOVE Graphic Tee - Price $12.50. (Keep All Price $8.75)
This is a soft t-shirt in English Rose. My daughter loves it. I washed it a few times already and it has held up perfectly.
Here is the information card that comes with the subscription box.The front is personalized with my daughter’s name again. Kids love to see their names on things.
The inside gives information on how kidpik works and a breakdown of all the items in the subscription box.
Now let’s look at what was underneath those bags.
Pearlized Pleather Tulip Skirt – Price $19.50 (Keep All Price $13.65)
My daughter is also obsessed with this gold skirt! All clothing I have seen in kidpik boxes is machine washable.
Skinny Jean – Price $15.50 (Keep All Price $10.85)
These skinny jeans are in Dark Sapphire. My daughter normally wears a size 8 or 8/10. I have size 8 selected in her profile for pants. These jeans fit her exactly as skinny jeans are supposed to. That being said, there really is no extra wiggle room so I think that is important to keep in mind during size selection.
Each girl’s kidpik profile allows you to select whether your girl likes to wear jeans and her preferred cut.
Back pockets.
Geo Sequin Top – Price $19.50 (Keep All Price $13.65)
This cream colored shirt is as easy to wear as a t-shirt, but looks much more interesting. It can be dressed up with the skirt or down with the jeans.
Back of the shirt. Notice the sheer, cuffed sleeves.
Ditsy Floral Peasant Dress – Price $22.50 (Keep All Price $15.75)
The last item in my older daughter’s box is this black floral dress. The small flowers in it work well with the rose gold booties making this a quick and cute outfit to throw on and go.
Let’s see these clothes in action and then take a look at the box for my younger daughter! There are also photos of the girls together later in the review.
Box 2
F also has a couple of bags near the top of her box.
She also received the beaded bracelet gift. The girls were excited to match!
Let’s see what is inside her drawstring backpack!
Karel Flat Ballet Toddler - Price $19.50. (Keep All Price $13.65)
kidpik calls the color of these shoes grey. They have a definite sparkle to them and sometimes read as a gunmetal grey color and other times silver. No matter what you call them, they are adorable! They have a strap to help keep them on securely because they are still within a toddler shoe size.
Non-slip bottoms. Thank you, kidpik!
Double Rhinestone Headband - Price $9.50. (Keep All Price $6.65)
Now that is a headband!
My 6 year old son is patiently waiting on kidpik to start doing boxes for boys. I hear him. I wish they would make several of these items in women’s sizes as well!
Butterfly Tee - Price $16.50. (Keep All Price $11.55)
This is a casual tee that catches outside light. You will be able to see this a little better in a photo below. All of the items in the kidpik boxes fit true to size and hold up well through repeated laundry cycles.
Here is the information card that came with this second box. The front is personalized with my daughter’s name.
Detailed breakdown.
Now let’s look at what was underneath those bags.
Pleated Brushed Floral Skirt – Price $17.50 (Keep All Price $12.25)
This skirt has some stretch to it. It also has an elastic waistband. The zipper works, but it is a faux pocket.
Back of the skirt which also has a functional zipper.
Skinny Jeans – Price $15.50 (Keep All Price $10.85)
My younger daughter received the same jeans in a smaller size. These are a size 5 which is what she normally wears. They fit the same way as they do on my other daughter.
Adjustable waist.
Metallic Fleece Bomber Jacket – Price $22.50 (Keep All Price $15.75)
I am not sure I would call this a bomber jacket personally, but I do see the resemblance. It is black with silver running through it. It has the weight and thickness of a zipped sweatshirt, but that is not exactly what it is either. It is a little difficult to describe. It is a versatile layering piece, though, and my daughter likes to wear it so that is what matters. She can easily zip it by herself.
Chiffon Sequin Dress – Price $24.50 (Keep All Price $17.15)
AKA the pièce de résistance. When I first saw this dress, I thought it was beautiful, but wondered where my daughter could wear it in real life outside of special events. The answer is when you have a dress like this, you can wear it everywhere! Both of my daughters are obsessed with this dress.
Button closure on the back. The skirt has some stretch to it and the dress is fully lined.
Let’s see these clothes in action and then both of the girls together!
Both boxes also come with a coloring booklet.
kidpik also has a shop where you can purchase basic pieces outside of their subscription box.
Focusing on their work.
Some final photos of the girls together!
I love that everything in each box comes as a cohesive collection that works well together as mix-and-match pieces. So versatile!
The total price for all the items in the first box is $123.50 if we purchase everything separately. The total for the second box is $125.50 if purchased separately.
Considering the quality of the items, the fact that the styling service, shipping to us and any return shipping is thrown in, the time I saved not having to go out looking for these items, not to mention the free gift, I think that is a more than fair price.
If, for some reason, you don’t like the subscription box, you have one week to return it and pay nothing. Amazing.
Plus, if you keep the whole box, which we will probably always do especially since everything works so well together, you get the 30% discount so the price would be $86.45 for the entire first box and $87.85 for the entire second box. I call that a deal!
Verdict: We love kidpik and are very excited to see what they send next! The quality is great and my daughters love wearing their new clothes! If you are on the fence about trying this one, give it shot. What do you think of kidpik?
