Now, onto the items!
Threads for Thought Scarf - Value $28
This scarf is made from modal, so it is super lightweight and a little sheer - a good balance for the boldness of the color and print!
This isn't the first type of scarf I picture when I think of fall, but it's a bright spot in my wardrobe - I think I'll be reaching for it a lot this cold season and into the spring!
Odeme Nail Polish in Dancehall Days - Value $12
The packaging! Gorgeous!
This nail polish is 5-free and provided great coverage with only one coat:
It's a high-shine fuschia creme polish. I typically stick with light/neutral colors, so this definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone!
Beauty Counter Hand Cream in Citrus Mimosa - Value $17
(Good to know for swaps - has inner foil seal.)
Beauty Counter is known for being a brand that is ingredient-conscious, so I was already excited when I saw this in the box, then I read "Citrus Mimosa," and I couldn't wait to try this out.
The formula is a little lighter than some hand creams, but it still provided excellent moisturization. The light citrus scent is fantastic, too - this is one of my new favorite products!
Urban Orgeanics Lip Butter - Value $12
This lip balm comes in a cardboard tube and is sealed with washi tape. (I appreciate the material choices, but I'm a little concerned that the cap would easily come off if this was loose in my purse.)
It's tinted with beetroot, but the tint is so faint it wasn't showing up on my wrist for a swatch picture. (It didn't show up on my lips either.) I'd consider this just a lip balm, which is still pretty great.
AEnons Rose Clay Purifying Mask - 1 Treatment Value $4
This is a powder mask is made with natural ingredients, and you just add water to make a paste before applying it. The pink color of this clay mask is gorgeous, but the scent just wasn't for me - I ended up taking it off well before the 10-minute mark.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $73. I think the packaging and presentation of this box are excellent, and I appreciate the curation, too. (Although, I would have preferred a better balance of fashion, beauty and lifestyle items, instead of just one fashion item and four beauty items.) That being said, I think all of the brands selected were great, and some were new discoveries for me. My favorite items in this box are the hand creme and scarf, but everything included was definitely a quality item.
