Collector Corps is a bi-monthly subscription for Funko fanatics. Every delivery is themed in some way - some are themed after comic events/movies, like 'Civil War', or a category of characters, like 'Women of Power', as well as specific characters like 'Ant-Man' and 'Deadpool'.

Each month now comes with a large information sheet. With this, you can find our additional details about each item in the box - including concept art.

The first items you'll find in your box are your themed collector patch and pin. This month, both are themed around the Doctor Strange, of course. The patch features the man himself, while the pin features the Eye of Agamotto.

Doctor Strange Shirt - Value $15?

This month's wearable item goes back to basics with a Doctor Strange shirt. It's a pretty basic POP version of Doctor Strange which also has somewhat of a Twilight Zone vibe going for it - anyone wearing this to opening night?

Astral Projection Floating Doctor Strange POP - $20-25?

This hasn't shown up on POP Price Guide yet, but I'm basing the value off of previous POPs. This is what these subscriptions are all about, exclusive POPs - and this one is GREAT.

I absolutely love the astral projection design and the floating design with his cape as a base.

I have a feeling that I will be collecting this entire set.

Doctor Strange POP Mug - Value $10-15?

So, at first, I hated receiving these mugs in my Funko boxes, but I've actually grown to really love them and use them all the time - I'm drinking from my Jabba mug as I write this review!

My only issue with this mug is that there is a bit of a lip (unlike my current Jabba mug) which could provide some unwanted spills, we'll have to see. These are marked as hand-wash only, but we've been running them through the dishwasher without any damage to the mugs so far.

Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme #1 - Value $3.99

The final item in the box is the first issue of Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme. This also has an exclusive variant cover for the issue.

For me, Doctor Strange always has some of the best artwork in the Marvel Universe - I feel like artists can really go crazy with all the amazing types of monsters that could exist. I also love when they show you what he's seeing layered on top of everyday, normal, life - I hope they can capture that in the movie!

Verdict: I'm really excited for the movie, this box just gets me a bit more excited. I've been saying that I think this will be a surprise success, not unlike Guardians of the Galaxy was, just because of the amazing cast and all of the fun visuals they can do with it - early reviews suggest that could be the case! Ok, back to the box, I'm loving the mug and POP, those two items make it worth the price of admission for me. It would be cool to see something a bit different with these boxes that align with a movie's release - some Fandango credit to see the movie would be an addition that everyone could get behind. Overall, I'm loving the Doctor Strange box!

What did you think of the October Doctor Strange box from Marvel Collector Corps? Are you excited for the movie?

Also, I love that POP. I’m definitely going to have to get it, and probably most of the collection, and I’m not even a huge fan of POPs. (I prefer Q-figs and things like it.)

Hi Eric. I thought this was going to be the box with a Doctor Strange bathrobe? Did I just imagine that? I’ve been googling, and searching the site, but now I can’t find the mention anywhere.

Cool, thank you!

I need this box!! (The box itself, not the items.) I  Mr. B. Cumberbatch!

A movie ticket or credit would be a great idea for these boxes!
