After a build-up of MONTHS, Mine Chest finally started shipping out their monthly packages in May! This was the fourth box my kids got, and they were super excited! They are HUGE Minecraft addicts, and this box delivers official and exclusive Minecraft items every month!

mine-chest-september-2016-theme

This month's theme is Animal Farming! This info card is also a cool (albeit blurry) hologram. I just wanted to note that this month's package was very late. In August, they changed their shipping from the end of the month to the beginning, but this one didn't ship until after the middle of the month... They did send an email, however, stating that this month's package would be late.

This is the information card that was included, and it's written up very cleverly in postcard style. The box (pictured above) is also collectible, and subscribers are encouraged to keep them and build in real life just like in the game!

Eggs Tee - Value $15?

This tee is a Mine Chest exclusive, and my eight-year-old loved it! This shows all the different eggs you might encounter in the game.

Mine Chest Exclusive Sticker - Value $1?

It's a family of blocky little pigs! My eight-year-old loved this, too!

Stamp Block and Ink Pad - Value $7?

This is another Mine Chest exclusive! They have been sending stamps every month so far, and I finally recognized that they are all different kinds of - that's right - cubes. The idea is that they can collect the ink pads and then make Minecraft worlds on paper, too! That's actually a pretty clever idea. And hooray! I remembered to try it out and take a picture of the stamp for you this month! It's a blocky little horse!

mine-chest-september-2016-pin

Minecraft Exclusive Pin- Value $5?

It's another Mine Chest exclusive! It's a carrot pin! This is pretty cute, actually, even though my boys aren't really into pins.

Plush Chicken - Value $13.99

I knew my eight-year-old was still into plushies somewhat, but I had no idea what a hit a Minecraft stuffed chicken would be with him! He absolutely loves it! He got a huge kick out of it and has taken him around with him everywhere since he got it.

Verdict: This was another great box from Mine Chest! The kids loved everything and were excited by it all. I think the value of everything this month adds up to about $42, which is good for a $37 box. We are loving our Mine Chest subscription!

Cute box this month! Thanks for the review. Ive been watching this one to see what to expect. I’m planning to get a one time box for my 9 year old for Christmas. The sub is a little expensive to get every month, and would really be Minecraft overload….for me 😉
You can get a better print from your stamp if you use a nail file/emery board or red rubber eraser to rough up the smooth rubber.

Is this box still available? My son would love it! On the site it shows the creeper box which I don’t think he would really be into. I’m hesitant to sign up if that’s what I get.
