Let’s start with the printed material. First, we have the workout from a Certified Personal Trainer. I did the workout this week and really liked it but I did have to look up what the word “superset” meant (exercises performed in a row without stopping). I love having a good workout sent to me!
The back of the workout card gives information about protein intake. I think this is a great addition.
Monarch Fitness Lifestyle Tank Top - Value $14.99
I got this great shirt to wear while working out. It fits great and is very flattering.
Beast Predator in Blue Raspberry (30 servings) – Value $49.95
Wowza! This stuff is amazing. I’ve been in sports and worked out on and off most of my life but I’ve never taken any supplements other than for weight loss. I took this 30 minutes prior to my workout on Wednesday and I felt like a bottle rocket within 25 minutes. I didn’t read the information card before I took it so when my ears starting itching, I was a bit worried. If you aren’t prepared, this stuff is scary but the key ingredients are pictured above and are amazing. I’m hoping the DMAE improves my cognitive abilities.
Protings in Chili Lime (1 oz) – Value $1.25
Protings in Zesty Nacho (1 oz) – Value $1.25
If I wasn’t eating any carbs, these might have tasted better but that wasn’t the case. Honestly, the flavor isn’t good but the 15 grams of protein is great.
TastyWHEY 100% Premium Whey Protein (Chocolate Peanut Butter) - Value $1.67
This stuff has a great taste! It’s one of the best-flavored whey powders I’ve ever tried.
Verdict: I really enjoyed my first month of the Monarch Fitness Basic Box. The pre-workout supplement was crazy good and all the other items were just cherries on top of that! I probably wouldn’t have ever tried a pre-workout supplement so I’m thrilled and everything else in the box was new to me. I enjoyed the workout included and the information on protein was useful to me. The items add up to $69.11 which is just below the “over $70 value” promised in every box but that is okay with me (plus, I understand how prices can fluctuate quickly.) Overall, I’m happy and think the Monarch Fitness Basic Box is a winner!
