I subscribed for the November crate & am sooo excited to receive my box! I will definitely be doing a review on all the items once they come in and posting the review in the Asian Beauty sub reddit community. Im trying not to think of how long the shipping will take to receive the box. D;

I asked if the items were going to be cruelty free and or parben free, etc and I got this email back for those of you who had the same question:
Hey Ronda,
Thanks for writing to us at Japan Crate! ʕ •́؈•̀ ₎
We’d love for our Kira Kira Crate to be exclusively cruelty free, but at this moment we are unable to guarantee that all items will be from companies that engage in cruelty free practices. Due to this we do not feel 100% confident in labeling our crate cruelty free. As for paraben free, Japan has laws and regulations regarding the use of parabens that fall in line with the FDA and Health Canada’s standard. They are not labeled paraben free but there is a regulation or limit on the amounts. If you have anymore questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Japan is known for having high quality drug store brands, so I am hoping to see a few of them featured in this box. They do particularly well with eye makeup and skincare.

This looks interesting. Most Asian beauty boxes out there are limited to K-beauty, so a beauty box that sends Japanese brands would be nice– particularly from a company like Japan Crate who has been reliable. I wonder if this box will be skipable like Japan Crate is.

According to the link above, it is $29.00 per month (after you select Kira Kira as your box). A little high for my budget, but sounds like a good deal for 6-8 full size products.
