I’m addicted to Harry Potter boxes! I’m usually ordering 3 boxes each month from different stores. For September I ordered JKR Wizarding World by Loot Crate, Flying Parcel from Gobstone Alley and bath balls from Lush! Can’t wait for my August delivery! It’s soo good that years after first book reading this magical fandom is sooooo alive! It’s also good to be adult now, I can spend my galeons the way I want 😀

I wish I’d known about this sooner 🙁 All the small female boxes are sold out… Wish there was a way to get notified if they add more!

Appy

They’ve stated that the won’t be getting any more in stock of sizes that sell out for the current box :c Hopefully they stock more in smaller sizes for future boxes…

Dana

Bummed–I went to sign up and they’re already “sold out” of both S & M in Women’s shirts.

Katie

I looked at the size chart for women’s and I’m really confused. I usually wear a Lrg or XL (size 14-16) depending on the brand. I’m a 40DD. But the size chart just has a chest measurement of 23 1/2 as the highest?! I’m a proud Slytherin and I want to wear the shirt!

Mariel

With loot crate im a 3xl and im a 16/18 as well. There sizing is terrible

Reply ButtonReply

SarahFrances

Usually when they do the measurements like that, it’s how wide across the shirt is if you had it laid out flat (so just the width across the front of the shirt).

Reply ButtonReply

Katie

Ok. Thx! Cause I was like those numbers make no sense. I guess I’ll go ahead and get a XL. Thanks again!

Jerilynn

I signed up but I hope they let us change sizes and houses. My daughter is a small slytherin while I am a large Hufflepuff!

Hmmm

I’m probably in the minority but I don’t want to pick a house, I wish there was a general or “surprise me” option – I can never figure out which house I would be in lol.

Reply ButtonReply

Amber

go to the Pottermore website and take the quiz to find out what house you’d be in. I’m a Ravenclaw!

Reply ButtonReply

Hmmm

Thank you Amber! I’ll definitely check that out!

Colleen

Wow, thanks Amber! I didn’t know about that site!!! Just found out my house (Ravenclaw) and my wand (Rowan wood with a Unicorn hair core 14 ½” and Slightly Yielding flexibility) and my patronus (White Stallion).
How fun!!! Not the house I would’ve picked – probably would’ve gone with Gryffindor. After reading about it, I’m happy with Ravenclaw.

Looking forward to seeing the reviews on this one.

I think I’m going to see what’s in the first box before subscribing. I want this SOOO badly but I also don’t want to be disappointed.

Kay

Yes, signed up as soon as I saw it! Can’t wait for more Ravenclaw goodies!

Reply ButtonReply

Jenny

It would be really cool if they did the ilvermorny houses too!

Reply ButtonReply

JacLyn

Yay! I’m so excited for this. I’m so glad we get to pick our house, too. <3 I'm hoping there will be scarves! That would be fantastic. 😀

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

While I really want to purchase this for my daughter, I feel like we already have so much Harry Potter stuff that it wouldn’t make sense for us to get this. We have a hat, gloves, scarf, necklace, pop figures, robe, wands, books, movies…I think I will wait to see how exclusive the exclusive items really are. Maybe I will sign my DD after that.

Reply ButtonReply

Scarlett

YESSS!! OMG!! got it! I’m a Gryffindor.. can’t wait for this box!!

Brooke

OH SO TORN!!! My sons (now in college) and I WORSHIP HP and re-read all 7 books regularly (& have been to HP world 4x and make butterbeer and generally geek out at all things Potter…).

But, we also WORSHIP all things Firefly/Serenity and I was super disappointed in that box.

Maybe lootcrate just isn’t my thing…?

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

I am also torn, but for a different reason… I already subscribe to the Geek Gear World of Wizardry box and I love it. I can’t really justify two HP boxes. 🙂

My birthday is in November, though, so I might sign up for the first one and then cancel whichever subscription I like less.

Courtney Clark

I signed up for the first box! I’m excited… really really want spoilers 😀

Reply ButtonReply

SarahFrances

Hmmm, I just cancelled PopSugar this morning, and now this appears. I think that means I get to sign up.

Reply ButtonReply

Amber P

I’ll definitely dive for an inaugural box, I’m not sure I’d keep up with a subscription but I can’t turn away officially licensed HP loot.

Reply ButtonReply

Dea

Despite JK Rowling’s too-obvious disdain, I am not ashamed to admit that I am a Hufflepuff.

Reply ButtonReply

Jenny

Me too! Clicked that Hufflepuff button with pride! So excited to see what we get!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Brandy

Signed up right away!

Might want to mention that they asked for tshirt size for male or female (no unisex, woo) and that you get to tell them your House!
Though now I’m afraid my ravenclaw stuff will be based off the wrong movie scheme ):

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer Raffel

I’m in the same boat, Brandy. I signed up for Ravenclaw and then remembered that bronze was replaced by gray in the movies. I think we may be stuck, but there are worse things…

Reply ButtonReply

Jakki

I received this email at work and had to contain a little scream of excitement! I did not even hesitate before I subed. The real selling point was being able to select my house! Slytherin for the win!

Reply ButtonReply

WendyM

SO much FOMO!

Reply ButtonReply

Amber

Can you purchase a single box? This could be perfect for a Christmas gift

Reply ButtonReply

Linda

It’s a bimonthly box so the first box will be in November.

Reply ButtonReply

Eric

I don’t think that Loot Crate has the ability to do one-off purchases, unfortunately.

Reply ButtonReply

Jason Joyce

They do, but it only makes sense for their limited edition crates.

Liz

This is only available as a subscription, but Loot Crate allows you to pause or cancel your subscription online. Hope that helps!

Reply ButtonReply

Amber

Thanks, I’ll probably still get one 😀

Jenny

Yesssss!!!! I am so excited! Thank you for the intel, Eric!
