Any word on wether or not Target will be releasing a for him box in time for the holidays?

I also ordered one within 2 minutes of the post going live, and mine was cancelled. Unfortunately Target outsources their customer service calls and the first person I spoke with did not speak English very well, so I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor was very nice and agreed with me that this is not usual behavior from Target. He sent the issue to their tech department to see why the box was even offered if it was not available. He then sent me a $10 electronic gift card to Target, which will definitely pay for one of my future boxes. So my advice call and complain about your disappointment of the cancelled box and get a gift card.

I never even got the email. This is the 2nd month in a row that this has happened.

Yes, this is definitely last year’s “for him” box. Clearly this box’s “availability” today was a technical error on Target’s site.

It’s a bit funny to me that this very site has a full review of this exact box, extolling the value of the 2 full size deoderants and razor blade in a $5 box. While I certainly don’t expect a reviewer to have perfect recall of every box she or he has ever reviewed, perhaps this experience demonstrates a need for more vigilant verification before publishing these posts, or at the very least a “use at your own risk” disclaimer.

(Please see this for the constructive criticism it is, not finger-pointing or anything else. The fault here is Target’s; but, with the substantial readership MSA has, especially given our lemming-like response to Target boxes in particular, it seems a verification step might be worth considering.)

Hmmmm, I ordered right away, got confirmation too. No cancellation yet, I did order a couple other items though.

This was last year’s box since I saw a bunch of reviews dated last year on the site even though it showed sold out. Someone must have activated the link accidentally.

Ehhh you can buy these items at targets expansive sample section. I don’t really understand all the hoopla over these boxes. I have the boxes from a previous order so I just fill them up with samples available at their stores.

Yes, I also got a note saying it was cancelled. What’s going on?

This was the box they had last December. Someone must have accidentally deactivated the item.

My order was canceled 🙁

I ordered two boxes right after I saw it posted on MSA. There weren’t even any comments up yet when I ordered it and I just got a message that my boxes were canceled as well.

Mine says it was cancelled as well :/ Guess they made a big mistake it seems. Hopefully I can still grab one, I was excited to get this box for my guy.

Got my order in as soon as I got the email. Received confirmation a few hours ago, now it’s saying my order is cancelled.

I ordered and got a confirmation too. Just now I got a “cancelled order” from Target. I am not happy.

Why my order is cancelled? I was one of the first ones who ordered…

They must have over-sold them – I ordered one, the authorization hit my Paypal account, but I just got an email that my order was cancelled.

I just got an email from Target that stated that my order was cancelled. I think the Box was posted in error; that’s why it disappeared/sold out on the site so quickly.

I just received an email stating that my order was canceled!

Hopefully this was live too soon and will be back in stock on Monday with the other beauty box!

I got my order in early. Just checked the Order Details page from the order confirmation. Now saying backordered arriving November 4th. We’ll see what happens.

I am fairly certain the inventory item was posted accidentally. Target has since removed the item from the website. I have read reports on other blogs saying that Target has been cancelling orders as the item is “out of stock”
