Each month, The Bam Box will send out collector items according to its theme - August's theme was Watching!

the-bam-box-october-2016-0005

They've recently switched from a large info sheet to a booklet.

the-bam-box-october-2016-0010

Inside, you'll find information about their '1-UP' system and all the info you'll need about this month's items.

I also wanted to point out The BAM! Box has some great customer care! They are reaching out to let you know why shipping was a little later this month and that this box might be missing an item:

The second thing I want to talk about is the actual items in the Watching box. It was brought to our attention by our shipping facility that some of the boxes may have been packed incorrectly. Meaning that there may be an item missing. We know which items the mistakes were made with and you will notice them too if it affected you. They were for specific items. So, if you see this, please reach out to us and let us know at [email protected]. Again, these are specific items this happened with that may affect a few people.

Kudos for being proactive!

Each month includes a BAM! Pin according to the theme.

the-bam-box-october-2016-0026

I received the Chucky version of the pin! There were two other possibilities - Sam (from Trick r' Treat) or Billy (the puppet from Saw).

Demonic Puzzle Cube - Value $15-20?

This is my favorite item of the month! I love Hellraiser, so this is the BEST Rubik's cube I've owned!

S-Mart Employee ID Badge - Value $10?

The next exclusive item is from Army of Darkness! Shop Smart, Shop S-Mart!

This would be a great addition to any Ash costumes this weekend!

KISS Volume #1 - Value $3.99 + Exclusive variant cover

They sent out a comic this month as well - featuring KISS. The story is weird, featuring KISS as some type of forgotten-but-not-forgotten gods.

From Amazon:

KISS is back! Back to the FUTURE in this dark sci-fi adventure. In a world without sun and a world without heroes, four young friends embark on a dangerous mission - to uncover the truth about the mysterious Council of Elders and their underground home, the city of Blackwell. But first they need some help from the past…

the-bam-box-october-2016-0019

It's signed by the cover artist John Lucas. 25 special copies were signed by KISS band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley - did you get one?

Linda Blair Autograph - Value $15+?

The next item was an (awesome) autograph - you'll either receive Linda Blair or Skeet Ulrich from Scream. I got Linda Blair!

the-bam-box-october-2016-0014

What a movie. I'm pretty ok with scary movies, but I remember watching this one again, by myself, in the dark, about 10 years ago and not really being able to sleep too well that night.

the-bam-box-october-2016-0015

Jason and Freddy Print - Value $10+?

The last item in my box is a print - but probably one of the best prints I've received in a box! You would receive this print or a Michael Myers and Leatherface print in the same style.

the-bam-box-october-2016-0016

The artwork is fantastic - these are also signed and numbered by the artist, John Branham.

Verdict: I enjoyed this month's box from The BAM! Box. While it feels like there really isn't a hero item in the box, I love the cube enough for it to be my personal hero item - coupled with the great signed Linda Blair print and fantastic art featuring Freddy - this box hit all the right notes for my personal horror taste.

You’re way off on the price of the Linda Blair autograph. At conventions autographs start at $20 and for big name celebrities they are usually $45 – $60.

i feel like i am in the minority here but I think it was one of the weakest boxes in a month of extremely sub par boxes….just my opinion anyway

Jim

The September box wasn’t subpar in my opinion (but then maybe I’m biased since I got the Stranger Things hat), but the Con Exclusive one was kind of a pisser, total miss on that one.
