This box contains products from Italy, Germany, Spain, Japan, and the United States!

yummy-bazaar-september-2016-popcorn

Popart Rosemary Truffle Popcorn (1 oz.) - Value $1.75

I’m a big fan of Popart Popcorn’s range of interesting and unexpected flavors. (My favorite is Thai Coconut Curry!) The rosemary truffle is great, and I like how the different flavors combine to form a fresh and earthy taste.

yummy-bazaar-september-2016-chips

German Potato Chips with Real Truffles by Seuss - Listed Value $2.95

More truffles! I love truffles and I love potato chips, so truffle potato chips are a no brainer! There are tasty, but they’re not quite as delicious as the truffle chips Yummy Bazaar sent out in one of their first ever boxes. Those still stand out to me as one of the best potato chips I’ve ever had.

Valdezarza Salad Kit - Listed Value $0.60

This little salad kit is so cute! It contains olive oil, sherry vinegar, and sea salt.

I’ve tried Valdesarza’s olive oils before, and they’re fantastic.

yummy-bazaar-september-2016-hotsauce

Formosa Jalapeno Hot Sauce - Listed Value $2.49

I’ve tried this hot sauce before thanks to subscription boxes, and I really like it. The last time I received a sample, I got into a habit of using it in homemade veggie breakfast burritos. The creamy sauce has a warming kind of heat that’s not too strong for first thing in the morning. I think I know what’s on the menu for breakfast tomorrow!

yummy-bazaar-september-2016-jellies

Japanese Fruit Jelly in a Cup - Listed Value $4.95

I love combing the aisles of Asian supermarkets, and fruit jelly cups are an item that I rarely leave without. The little cups don’t require refrigeration, and they come in a variety of flavors. I received peach and grape in this box, but I’ve had flavors like kiwi, lychee, and mango before, too. Both the grape and peach had great flavor. In my experience, jelly cups aren’t that expensive, so I’m not sure about the value provided on the info sheet. It seems highly inflated to me.

Italian Natural Berry Fruit Gels by Bombi - Listed Value $3.95

I love fruit gels, and these are unlike any I’ve had before. First of all, they’re so tiny!

The flavor is also really interesting. They’re sweet, fruity, and intensely floral.

UPDATE: Yummy Bazaar let us know the listed values on their info cards are typically for full-size products, even if subscribers receive a sample size. This is clarification as to why the pricing appears inflated.

Verdict: I really enjoy Yummy Bazaar's Destination Food Club! I like the wide range of items included this month, and I always love discovering new treats from around the world! Using the values provided in the info booklet, the total retail value of the items in this box comes out to around $17. A few of the provided values seem a little inflated to me, but I’m still happy with the overall value.
