Beauteque BB Bag is a monthly Asian beauty subscription box from Beauteque Monthly that offers full-sized makeup, skincare, and body products along with a makeup bag. Each bag claims to have a value that is triple of what you pay. Beauteque Monthly also offers Beauteque Mask Maven (you can read Ragan's reviews here!)
Beauteque ships out their monthly subscription in two batches. I receive mine at the end of each month.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Usually, Beauteque's themes are irrelevant to their curation so I wouldn't give it too much thought. October's theme is Post Party Recovery.
The design of this month's bag is simple but cute. It's quite spacious as well, which makes it a good choice for traveling.
Hanaka Hyaluronic Acid Sleeping Pack - Value $11.90
This is a large tub of sleeping pack, which should be used as the last step of your nightly skincare routine. It contains ingredients like aloe vera, cactus, camellia, and hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid helps to lock in moisture and strengthen the skin's moisture retention abilities. The gel cream has a fresh fragrance that disappears pretty quickly. The pink and yellow beads suspended in the gel dissolves quickly upon contact. After patting adequate sleeping mask into my skin I'm left feeling slightly sticky but not uncomfortably so.
This is a side comment, but as much as I love value, I feel like there's almost too much product! I only need a dime-sized amount to cover the whole face, which means this tub will probably last me months and months, if not years.
A'Pieu Mineral Lip & Eye Makeup Remover - Value $10.99
This is a bi-phased lip and eye makeup remover. It easily dissolves waterproof makeup such as the Vacci eyelier (shown below) and leaves little to no residue. It also doesn't irritate my eyes, although I would definitely remove contact lenses before use.
KAO Megurhythm Steam Hot Eye Mask - Listed Value $2.50 each, $5 total
These are single-use self-heating eye masks. Think sleep masks but made of soft cotton. This is definitely a new masking experience for me. Each eye mask comes with straps to loop over your ears and heats up immediately upon opening. It smells great too. The heating lasts for about 10 minutes. It feels really nice! I think these would be perfect for chilly winter nights.
Vacci Royal Luminant Auto Eyeliner Pencil - Listed Value $10.99
This is a retractable black eyeliner with a mini detachable sharpener on the other end. The eyeliner delivers a pigmented line with one swipe. I wore this for a whole day with minimal smudging, but I did notice some of the color near the inner corner of my eye disappeared. I wiped it off easily with eye makeup remover at the end of the day.
Mediheal Peelosoft XP Shot - Value $11.99
This is a kit that uses BHA and AHA for gentle chemical exfoliation to "peel" away dead skin cells. It sounds intimidating but there is no pain involved. Subscribers received one of three variations, and I got the red one. The kit includes four huge cotton swabs which are meant to be used with the peeling solution. I don't like the smell, which makes me want to wash it off as soon as I rub it on my face.
The kit has a fun design. You have to attach the cotton swab to the inside of the cap, and then use the cap as a handle to dip the cotton into the solution to apply it to the face. Personally, I don't notice any differences before and after use, but it may have effects for other people.
Beauteque Rainbow Volume Brush - Value $11.50?
All subscribers received a mystery beauty brush in this box, and I got a Beauteque branded hairbrush with rainbow-colored plastic bristles and a mirror on the back. The bristles are designed to give volume to your hair while brushing. I'm always looking for volumizing products but this doesn't really improve my limp locks. Bummer.
I found the value off of an almost identical rainbow brush.
Verdict: Overall I will use all the items, but most of them aren't very exciting to me except for the self-heating eye masks. On the plus side, I like exploring these lesser-known Asian brands like Vacci and Hanaka that I don't see in other boxes. The total value adds up to $62.37. While it is not triple the value like Beauteque claims, it is more than twice the cost of the subscription.
