The box has a list of the items washi-taped to the inside of the box lid. The items are neatly wrapped in tissue paper that matches the palette of the rest of the items.
There's so much inside Mercantile Mail, so it's helpful to have these info cards, which explain a couple crafty ways to use the items in the box.
All of the smaller items came packaged in these little treat bags. I love how the "Goodies" font looks like a marquee. Let's start with one of the bigger bags.
Studio G Pigment Ink in Black - Value $0.29
The first item is this little stamp pad. It's the perfect size for small projects. The feeling of a new stamp pad is amazing—it's nice and juicy, and it makes inking your stamp totally effortless.
Striped Washi Tape - Value $1.34
I love neutral tones, so this black and white tape is right up my alley. If you're new to washi tape, know that it's not terribly sticky. Still, this tape would be great for paper crafts, or for little jobs like hanging photos or lightweight prints.
"Crazy Good" Washi Tape - Value $2?
This "crazy good" tape makes me want to find a crazy good place to use this tape. Maybe I'll use it to seal bags of cookies or chips I'm working my way through... "Why are the chips half gone?" "Read the tape—they're crazy good!"
Two Creative Mercantile Half-Sheet Planner Sticker Pages - Value $7.98?
Creative Mercantile Kindness by Emma Stickers - Value $2.99?
Creative Mercantile Quote Stickers - Value $2.99?
Creative Mercantile Tab Stickers - Value $1.99?
The second package was filled with all of these stickers by Creative Mercantile (makers of Mercantile Mail). They have a matte finish, so you can scribble notes on them easily. Get your journal ready for all of this fun flair!
4 Gift Tags - Value $0.80?
In the final package, there were two plain black gift tags and two with cute check boxes and lines for note taking. I especially like the idea of the black tags. How glamorous would they look with gold paint-pen writing on them?
Speech Bubble Paperclip - Value $0.08
How cute is this paperclip? I like the idea a lot, but I wish there were more than one. I have plenty of uses for paperclips, but honestly, I'm worried I won't be able to keep track of this single little guy!
Fancy Pants Notebook - Value $3.35?
This notebook is a unique square shape and has a neat Swiss cross pattern.
I didn't expect it to be ruled, nor the vintage vibes of the manila color and margin designs. I love it, though! It seems like it'd be helpful for keeping track of to-dos. I could make lists in the main body of each page, put due dates in the column next to the margin... I can't wait to start using this item!
Puffy Alphabet Stickers - Value $2.99
These stickers are so thin that their puffiness isn't as apparent, but their raised quality is, at least! The font here is just as fun as the pattern.
Clear Stamp Set - Value $3.49
Last but not least, we have these clear stamps. They have a real travel tilt, though the "Today" stamp could be used in plenty of scenarios (the Creative Mercantile founders suggest to use it to make "Gratitude Cards", on which you can keep track of memorable, magic moments throughout your day). You need to own a wood or plastic handle to attach these stamps to, though. They've had this kind of stamp set before, so I wish they'd add a stamp base to the box!
Large Clip - Value $1.99
Last but not least, the box included this simple metal clip. It's about the size of a chip clip. If you're hurtin' for an easel or a clipboard, this clip could probably help in a pinch (no pun intended!).
Verdict: As usual, Mercantile Mail was filled to the brim with fun items! I liked that everything in this box was organized so neatly and that it followed a similar color scheme. The box rounds out to $32, which makes the $24.95 price of the box totally reasonable. If you're a paper craft fan, then this box will open up a bunch of crafty new opportunities for you. I definitely recommend it!
