Little Lace Box is a bi-monthly lifestyle subscription box for women. Each box is curated around a specific theme. (FYI – they also have another bi-monthly subscription called “Serendipity” that does not have themes, and it is sent out on the off months of LLB. So, if you subscribed to both, you would get LLB and Serendipity on alternating months.)

October's box was all about baking. I enjoyed reading the letter - it helped tie all the product selections together. (From baking the food, to wearing comfy pjs, to cleaning up afterward!)

Creative Co-Op Stoneware Baker - Value $14

UPDATE: This item is one of Oprah's Favorite Things for 2016! (Thanks for the head's up, Stacey!)

little-lace-box-october-2016-0008

Subscribers will receive one of the following shades: Lemon Yellow, Tomato Red, Sea Blue, Navy Blue, Apple Green, or Pumpkin Orange.

I'm guessing all the colors are bold and gorgeous, but I'm so glad I received the Sea Blue - it's beautiful!

little-lace-box-october-2016-0010

And I'm very happy to see that this is microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe, too!

It measures about 4.5 inches in diameter, so this is a little stoneware pot:

little-lace-box-october-2016-0009

I think it would be perfect for baking cheese dip, individual cakes/desserts, etc.

Victorian Classics Pajama Pants - Retail Value Listed $28.99

(Subscribers will receive one of three colors: white, red, or yellow.)

little-lace-box-october-2016-0014

These pajama pants are made from a light, 100% cotton material. You might want something a little warmer in winter months (I'll be wearing quite a few layers), but keeping these pants so lightweight should work for any climate - so I think this is a good material choice.

The sizing here is pretty forgiving, too. I'm normally a medium/large in skirts/dresses, but the small pants still fit me. (The back of the waist is a thick elastic band, and the front is a drawstring.)

And these pants come in a little matching fabric bag (see the main group shot picture above), so they take up very little space for a suitcase, overnight bag, etc.

LeBlanc Laundry Wash in Summer Verbena - Retail Value $18.99

(Subscribers will receive one of six washes: Lavender Linen Wash, White Flowers Silk Wash, Lavender Silk & Lingerie Wash, Summer Verbena Laundry Wash, Blue Violet Linen Wash, or Original Silk & Lingerie Wash.)

little-lace-box-october-2016-0016

This laundry detergent is fancy! It's made in the USA, free from ingredients like parabens, sulfates, etc., and it's designed to be used with HE washers on the cold water setting.

(Just be careful when opening this - it is filled to the brim!)

little-lace-box-october-2016-0021

Creative Co-Op Ceramic Measuring Spoons - Value $11

little-lace-box-october-2016-0023

This set includes 1 tbsp, 1 tsp, 1/2 tsp, and 1/4 tsp. And these are top-rack dishwasher safe!

little-lace-box-october-2016-0022

These are a cute baking accessory, and I think they'd make a great housewarming gift, too.

little-lace-box-october-2016-0017

Emergency Stain Rescue - Value $8.99

little-lace-box-october-2016-0018

I know I probably shouldn't be excited about stain remover, but I was pumped when I saw this in the box! (My regular laundry detergent isn't cutting it to remove my foundation-on-the-collar issues!)

Plus this stain remover is free of peroxide, chlorine bleach and phosphates. I'm almost looking forward to a stain so I can try this out!

little-lace-box-october-2016-0019

Kilner Spice Jar - Value $5.99

little-lace-box-october-2016-0020

This is a cooking basic and will definitely go to use. (It was included in the Serendipity box, too.)

little-lace-box-october-2016-0011

Bonus Bangle! Value $18.99?

(Subscribers will receive either a gold and enamel bangle, or a boho beaded bracelet.)

This month there was a delay in shipment because of a vendor issue (LLB reached out to customers via email earlier to give them a head's up), and this inclusion is a bonus item as a way of apologizing for the delay.

little-lace-box-october-2016-0012

I like the gold and brown enamel color combo on this piece! (Let us know what bracelet you receive - I'm curious to see how many variations there are.)

little-lace-box-october-2016-0026

This box also included a Breast Self-Examination door hanger for Breast Cancer Awareness Month:

little-lace-box-october-2016-0027

And a coupon for 20% off Francesca's:

little-lace-box-october-2016-0024

And lastly, there are two bonus items still to come for subscribers:

Sassy Dip Mix by Julia's Southern Pantry - Value $6.95

A View to Delicious Magazine - Value $4.99 (Digital Download)

Expect an email from LLB within the next few days for details on redeeming both!

Verdict: This Little Lace Box has a value of about $114 - I think that's great! I also appreciate that Little Lace Box sends out assortments that you really don't see in any other subscription box - this was a fun and different theme!

I redeemed my coupon From Julia’s Kitchen and ordered another item as well – they arrived today and I can’t wait to try these products.

This is a great box. I love that Little Lace Box included this offer – so definitely don’t let it expire :).

My francescas promo code doesn’t work.. does anyone else have that problem?

I just received my box today. LLB has made a habit of forgetting that I’m a subscriber, and I have to email them to remind them to ship my box. However, I love all the items! I’m wearing my yellow pj bottoms right now. The mini green baking pot is super cute too. 🙂

If you receive the red pajama pants like I did, please DO NOT WEAR them. Their color transferred onto my white sheets and has not come out with two washings. I have contacted LLB and I’m waiting on a reply. I am very disappointed, both for the lost of the pjs and the loss of my white sheets!

I’ve been blown away by the Serendipity box so I had to try the regular one too. Love the curation of this one. I’ll use the small stoneware for a mac and cheese meal, a cake in a cup or an egg dish. Pudding? Large Jell-O shot? Very versatile when you think of it. Agree the measuring spoons look like a dollar store item but they fit the theme. Love the small jar for spices or my matcha tea. Rest of the items are useful and will love the fragrance on my hand washable. LLB seems more refined than Popsugar but both are my favs now that I am make-up and skin cared topped out.

I got the yellow baker. Although I’m not a fan of yellow, I must admit this one’s a pretty cheery color. I’m hoping these go on sale on their website — I think a set of all the colors would be fun. I got the yellow pj bottoms; but as a size 2X they probably won’t fit, and besides, I never wear pj’s so these’ll go right to swap, My bracelet is a very narrow bangle that’s gold and maroon; it’s beautiful, and maroon is one of my favorite colors and one of my fall/winter wardrobe staples. I got the Lavender Linen wash. All in all, a great box!

I got the tomato red baker, it’s cute, not sure what to cook in that? I got the same bracelet as you, it’s so small I’m not sure it would fit a toddler, I can’t get it over my knuckles!!! I have no idea what to do with this now?

AND after getting an email saying mine was delayed because they needed my size (which I filled out the month before, but filled out again because they asked) I got an XL NOT the size I asked for!! Why send out an email and delay my shipping if their just going to send wrong size?

I was all psyched about this box, now that it’s here I change my mind, toddler size bangle and pj’s that wont fit. The other items are ok.

Just a little update…I called them, the number is above where you message them. I talked to a nice gentleman he said to message them (not through facebook) and tell them about my bangle and pj’s and they should correct it.

He also said the manufacturer of the pj’s said XL will fit up to XXL, but not up to XXXL, I haven’t opened them yet, I may give them as a present to one of my daughters but thought people may like to know that.

I will update again if I hear back from them.

Suz

I love my bangle- gold with dark grey Druzy on the inside. Doubt it’s worth even $18.99, but it’s pretty and I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of it. Good box overall!

Is October sold out? I only see december info on their site.

This is my first LLB and I am so happy!!!! I signed up for a year sub and I am really looking forward to my future boxes! 🙂

My variations include the pumpkin orange bakeware, lavender silk and lingerie wash, yellow/red pajama bottoms, and bangle in gold and light pink (no studs). I strongly prefer cooler hues like blues, greens, and purples, but it’s OK to step out of my comfort zone (happens regularly with sub boxes). I think the pj bottoms (in large) are extremely roomy in the legs, so I won’t mind a little shrinkage. I probably won’t wear them until late spring because they are so lightweight. All in all I’m happy with the box (my first LLB), considering I only paid $39. The bakeware and bangle are my favorite items, but I will use everything.

i can’t get any of the discount codes to work for a subscription. Have they already expired?

Reply ButtonReply

Mom2uno

Wanting to swap my orange cooker for a navy one. Am on the swap site. I’ve already traded my verbena laundry wash for the lavender. The red cotton bottoms were cute, but too snug for comfort on my size 16 frame. My daughter pointed out that they were see thru. The little measuring cups are cute, but I already have a Longaberger set that has more sizes, they got swapped with the pants already.

Oh my gosh…how many of the comments on this thread are from LLB? I thought they were going to stop the stalking….

Reply ButtonReply

Kerri

What do you mean? These peoples comments are actually from LLB people and not people who actually love the box? Because if I saw a box I didn’t like I wouldn’t buy it period. No matter what other people are saying. if I don’t like it, I don’t like it ya know?

I don’t get your comment unless LLB really does this?

The Creative Co-Op Stoneware (this very piece!) was just announced as one of Oprah’s Favorite things for 2016. Three things: these are now going to be very hard to get, the giftable nature of the stoneware just skyrocketed and Little Lace Box just proved that they are DEAD ON in trends, ahead even. Fabulous box. I’m jealous of all of you who got one – my first doesn’t come until December.

Has anyone else not received a shipping notification yet? I haven’t received one and I contacted them yesterday morning and have not received a reply. I really want my box though 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Ake

I’m in the same boat. My order is still listed on the website as unfulfilled. No response yet from CS, but it’s only been two days since I contacted them.

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

Just a little insight here. When I first ordered this sub, I also subbed Serendipity, and for some reason, that messed things up in their system for my account. Ever since (about 6 months now), every month I send an e-mail reminding them to ship my box (otherwise, it hasn’t happened). They have always been quick to respond and correct the issue, it’s just that I have to keep on them each month.

The other thing is that they just put out a huge discount and I suspect they had massive new subscribers. I think they are smallish and they probably have their hands full right now. I wouldn’t panic just yet.

Dina

I haven’t gotten a shipping notification yet either. And I’ve sent 2 messages on Facebook and an email. They have always been super quick to respond any time I’ve had a problem so I’m a little concerned now. My first message to them was on Monday. I never received the email about the shipping delay either. I checked my spam mail, but it wasn’t there either. But my card was charged for October. Hoping I hear something today because I really want this box!!

Dina

I just got my shipping notification!!

Heathery

What an amazing box. This box is in the running for best box of 2016 out of ANY sub box, imo.

Reply ButtonReply

Cindy

Yes, my size L seems to run small and is a bit tight for pjs which I like loose. Other than that, great box! I, too, have missed redeeming almost all the extra codes….some of which never even reached my inbox.

Reply ButtonReply

KKH

FYI the pj bottoms appear to come in two yellows – mine is yellow and white (like the earlier spoiler) and others have been posting images of yellow with a more predominant red. Both are pretty, but there may be more variations than three color options.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

Love LLB! Such a great box! They always deliver though!

Reply ButtonReply

Kathy

I recieved my box today. Sorry, but Light-weight 100% cotton in see-thru white, pajama pants in the month of November. Really? szXL looks to be a Medium petite.. lord knows what size they’d be if you don’t follow the wash in cold water and hang dry instructions.

Linen cleaner? A spray bottle of Stain cleaner? A tiny little dollar-store jar? Some made in china ceramic measuring spoons that are super awkward and will certainly break and chip if you use them?

I recieved a blue and silver beaded bracelet that has no clasp (it’s tied shut) you loop it three times, but I can’t fit it over my hand nor my daughters. Since there’s no clasp, won’t work as a necklace either. I guess some bead krafting may be in my future.

I also recieved the SeaBlue (green was my specified color preference thou) mini stoneware baker which looks to be well made. It reminds me of a child size casserole dish! Kinda sad since my kitchen items are in apple green.

Reply ButtonReply

Jeannie Johnson

I have the green, and would gladly trade for the blue!

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

I think my other omment disappeared. I am interested in the sea blue pot. Are you on the swap site?

Reply ButtonReply

Meg

Thanks for the reality check! The review makes the box sound awesome but I think I would probably feel the same as you did seeing it IRL. Although I think I might still be excited about the stain remover. 😉

Little Lace Box is my absolute favorite subscription! This box was quickly added to my all-time favorite list. I loved how the enclosed letter noted which item was curated by which sister. Shoutout to ?. I’m so excited for the next Serendipity box and December’s LLB!!!

Beth

Looked like an amazing box full of tons of home goodies that you won’t find in any sub box which is so refreshing. I would use everything…. I know there must be alot of happy LLB campers right now..

Reply ButtonReply

Jill

My favorite box I’ve ever received… And I get way too many. Worth the wait!

Reply ButtonReply

Whitney

When I look at your pics, I think that must be Sea Blue, but then I got mine – it’s a light green-blue – and I think maybe yours is the “Navy”? Just thought I’d mention it in case there’s any confusion with swaps. ?

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

Mine leans towards aqua – it doesn’t look like the blue above (and mine is certainly not navy).

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

My blue doesn’t look like your blue or navy blue – it is lighter. Maybe it is just the monitor.
