This subscription has no theme and no information cards - so it's really a true mystery box of multiple geeky fandoms.
Live Long and Prosper Skelton Hand - Value $15?
October's box starts off with a Halloween-themed geeky shirt. Mix your love of Star Trek and Halloween together with this skeleton themed live long and prosper shirt. I will say, it is a bit weird to see a skeleton hand since Leonard Nimoy passed away in 2015.
Black Manta Justice League Figure - Value $15 on Amazon
They sent out a figure from DC Collectibles. From their figures to their statues - DC Collectibles is one of my favorite lines!
I got Black Manta - but I'm not sure if there was a possibility to receive Aquaman, Mera, or Ocean Master.
The figure is well built and has some weight to it.
This figure comes in at 6.75" tall, and as you can see, is poseable. These's is only articulation in the arms and legs, though.
Sonic Print - Value $5-10?
The next item is a print of Sonic the Hedgehog. This print has a little commemoration to the 25th anniversary of the first game!
It's printed on a thicker card stock and has that hand-drawn look. Overall, I like it - but I also grew up on Sonic!
Marvel Sneaker Laces - Value $5?
It looks like My Geek Box purchased some inventory from Loot Crate - since there are still marked as Loot Crate exclusives from the May 2015 box. This time - I got the color version instead of the gray, so at least I have some variation.
Pandorica #1 - Value $3.99?
This comic is a prequel to a movie by the same name - Pandorica.
I've never heard of the movie, so it may be a hit from the UK since this is a UK-based box.
Verdict: The figure alone is almost worth the full cost of the box, so that's great. Again, this one is much riskier than a themed geek box since you really have no idea what you're going to get. Had I not liked the figure, this month would have been a bust, but I got lucky and the big item hit my interests.
