I just got a email saying my box shipped already!

I just spoke with Sephora because it said my box was mailed with a USPS tracking # they usually start with #9274 if it’s not ups, fed ex etc.. Anyways, the lady said I had box B and gave me the contents of:Bobbi Brown Smokey Mascara, Sephora Collection Always Red (and that’s all she said about that one. So, I’m assuming it’s a lip product she didn’t tell me), Make Up For Ever step 1 smoothing equalizer, Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo, and Elizabeth & James Perfume in Bourbon. Sorry I couldn’t get anymore info on the red product. She was nice but I had to pull teeth to get those out of her. She didn’t know about the Play subscription. Oh and here is my #1879832.

Michelle

I am not a red lipstick girl so I hope its not that.

Reply ButtonReply

K

me either and I got a Tartiest one in my Ipsy this month too ugh..

Reply ButtonReply

Tiffany

I got that too! I swear Ipsy give me red lipstick at least every other month and every time I give it a bad review.

Jennifer

I would love the urban decay all nighter, and I think Pat Mcgrath Metalmorphosis will be in there.

Cassandra c

Considering all nighter was a freebie code recently and they seem to like to reuse those items, I could see that.

Reply ButtonReply

Cassandra

If only they had Metalmorphosis in there… ? A girl can hope! Hahaha.

Jennifer

😀 Well its def. sparkly!! Im not giving up hope lolol.

Samantha

There is a Sephora Favorites set called Glitz & Glam Party Essentials Sampler, and I suspect to see similar items in this box. I’m going to guess that we will get a matte red lipstick (or maybe a variation between that and the color worn by the woman talking in the video) and a dry shampoo (stay fresh all night). I hope we get a finishing powder like the one in the sampler too. I suspect we will also get a mascara and/or eyeliner, meh. I wouldn’t mind a nice dry shampoo and finishing powder. Hmm… maybe a lip liner or primer too. A clear one would be nice. We might also get a nail polish.

Ana

Yes!!! i was thinking the same! the lippie, the mascara and the nail polish. that weird way of showing her nails hehehehe

PSA. I know I post this a lot but we’re nearing the holidays. Please, please, please…if you have stuff from boxes you won’t use and/or can’t swap, please consider donating them to your local YWCA or women’s shelter. Many abused women and children are forced to relocate with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Pink glosses and red lipsticks will be WELL loved! Instead of trashing something and contributing to further environmental issues, please donate and brighten someone’s holidays. ????

I want to do this I just have no idea where to go? Will churches take this kind of stuff? I know they accept food donations, but not sure about cosmetics? BC I have no idea where to even start, but I really want to donate some goodies. Thanks.

Nicole – in my experience, shelters and more formally organized places cannot accept items that aren’t competely sealed due to liability. You may have better luck with a church group, I haven’t tried that yet.

Jenna

Great post, but just an FYI – if the item is not individually sealed, most places cannot accept it. I wanted to give away a lot of samples that I had, and couldn’t find a place to take them because of that.

I will put items in old ipsy bags and hand them out to the ladies asking for money out food with hygiene products mini mouth wash little toothbrush and paste and feminine hygiene items if they are younger people complain about getting too many dry shampoos if your living in the street that’s probably the best thing no wet hair

Thank you. I appreciate your reminder! Greatly appreciated.

I work in law enforcement, so I’m often the first to see and know what happens. Kids are super easy to please as they really are grateful for those small little things they can call “theirs.” These kids are the ones getting the crap end deal of their parents making crap life choices. I can’t use all I get in boxes, so I usually put together kid kits with the makeup bags I get from lipmonthly/sephora/ipsy and clear/neutral pouches or boxes for the boys. Girls love the nail polishes, the boys surprisingly enough like some of the hair products, like gel and mousse. They do like to fix their hair! Believe me, it makes a difference to those kids.

I hear you and agree. So it is not falling on deaf ears.

Abby

Urban Decay All Nighter Spray is my first guess. And some type of sparkle 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Cassandra

Yes! I just got a DS of the UD spray. I really like it, and I know those DSes are being given away by literally everyone. I would not be surprised to see that, at all.

Reply ButtonReply

Samantha

Good call on the setting spray! That’s not one of the items that came to mind for me, cause I haven’t used them much before.

I’m hoping for some “morning after the party” restorative type products. Those are great for traveling, too.

I love all lippies for sure and I have an obscene amount of red ones accumulated from sub boxes over this past year, I’m just worried some of the liquid formula ones are going to dry up before I can use them all. Does anyone know if certain formulas are going to dry up in the tube faster than the others? I’ve opened them all to test them so I feel like I let that air in to start what shelf life they have in them.

I liked Nov’s box. I got the variation with the gravity glamglow. I had just nabbed a full size thirstycleanse daily cleanser (best I’ve used for my obnoxious dry skin, thank you ipsy for that sample). I signed up for a second account and made one antiaging and other concerns and switched up some coloring info and hair concerns so if multiple items since they seem to have 3-4 variations now I will possibly get two (and if not gift). The only item I hated was that pin-up pink gloss! I never opened to swatch it so don’t know how pigmented but eugh pink like that on a fair redhead (bright true red not auburn or lighter) is awful. Loving the eye stick. Love the Caudalie. The tubes do feel light there but I’m glad to try it. Didn’t like bag print this month. Excited for hair products!

Drea

The lippie is AMAZING! I am a natural redhead and I use it almost daily. It us very sheer and only has a natural light pink to it when applied. It is very moisturizing and I would definitely buy the full size. It is worth trying for sure. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Amanda

Well it is basically full size that is why it is worth $11 out of $12…I hate glosses so I put mine up for swap.

Sherrie

The pink lip gloss is very sheer. My complexion is deep and it was not bright at all. Hope this help you.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I thought I would hate the pink too but it’s quite sheer unless you layer it and it feels nice on I give everything at least a try

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

I ❤️ red ? !!!

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan

Me too. I have like 50 red lipsticks but I will not be disappointed with #51.

I will be happy if I just GET the box next month. This month there was a goof up and my box never came and they said they had a technical error and my box wasn’t charged for until the 8th. Boxes have to be paid for by the 7th so no November box for me but to make up for it they gave me 250 bonus beauty points…I would have rather had the box =(

Reply ButtonReply

Patrice

lucky you. I didn’t receive my box either. sorting error at the post office. they sent it back to Sephora. Sephora gave me 200 points. no box for November.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I complained about my sample being almost empty two days ago and they are sending me out a whole new box i got #322

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

You should be able to get something nice for 250 points but just remember, they do expire so claim them soon!

Reply ButtonReply

Kendall

Sephora’s points expire? I thought that was one of the good things about them over Ulta, but I’ll be more than a little annoyed if that isn’t true.

Amanda

I guess I will be swapping the red lipstick, did she look more tan later or is it just me? Maybe a bronzer as well? Who knows, definitely not me. 😛

Reply ButtonReply

Julie E

The only clue I see here are bright red lips! Ugggghhhhh! I love lip products but NOT red. It doesn’t look good on everyone & especially not me. I have so many red lipstick products from all the different subs it’s ridiculous.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

Ditto. I hate red lipstick! Ahhhhh!!!

Reply ButtonReply

JA

Agree! Love lippies and hair products.

Reply ButtonReply

Jill

Lip products are what I live for!! Love every lipsticks I’ve received in this box!!

Reply ButtonReply

Redwoods301

YES!!!???

Reply ButtonReply

Brittany

Please… No more LIP products! I just don’t see the point of them including one in EVERY dang box. 🙁

Emily
