PLVSH Style is a subscription styling service for plus-size women. They describe themselves as "Concierge Styling, Exclusively for Women Sizes 14+." I love this type of box! When I signed up, I had to fill out a pretty in-depth questionnaire regarding my size, style preferences, and lifestyle in order for them to select pieces that are just right for me. Selections for each subscriber will (and should) vary.

PLVSH sent this info sheet with details on each item and a brief explanation of why each piece was chosen for me. I really like knowing that everything was hand selected for me!

Karen Kane Lace-Up Handkerchief Top - Cost to keep $108

I really wanted to love this tunic, but I think it might be unflattering on me. I love the stripes and the lace-up detail! I guess I have mixed feelings on this piece.

Nic + Zoe Perfect Side Zip Ankle Pant - Cost to keep $148

These pants are perfect! I love the way they feel and fit. The cost to keep is a little prohibitive, though.

Vince Camuto Rose Yoke Top - Cost to keep $109

This top is pretty, but it's way too fussy for me, and the color is a little drab for my tastes. You can almost tell by the look on my face how I feel about it, although I didn't mean to be making a face!

Vince Camuto Tweed Skinny Ankle Pants - Cost to keep $109

Y'all, I almost had a heart attack when I tried on these pants. They don't fit at all! Another reason my face looks like that is because I can't breathe in these pants! Then I went back and looked, and they sent me a size too small. Whew! That's remedied easily enough with PLVSH's easy and free returns, but I'm just so happy they were the wrong size! Full disclosure, this is the first time PLVSH has ever sent me the wrong size.

Nic + Zoe 4 Way Lightweight Cardi Sweater - Cost to keep $108

I really like this cardigan, and it actually makes me kind of like the blouse better. I already have several cardigans like this one, though, so I might send it back.

Verdict: This month's package from PLVSH Style was great, sizing snafu aside. PLVSH always sends really high-quality pieces that can be worn for years, and I love having the opportunity to try more high-end pieces. This month the black pants were my favorite piece! I am a huge fan of PLVSH!

I really like that stripe top on you. I love that cardigan too (but I love cardigans so I may be biased).

It is hard to tell in pictures so I can’t tell the quality of the clothes but I am struggling to understand why they are the prices they are… Which makes me disinclined to advise you to keep any of the pieced…

I also love the cardi on her. It’s not just that you’re biased! It does look really good on her! You are also totally correct about the pricing. I could not, in good conscious, tell anyone to keep such basic pieces that cost that much. The up-charge on the striped top alone is insane (I mean, I could buy a very similar top at Kohls right now for a fifth of that price!). If PLVSH wants to continue in the concierge styling business, they had better lower the prices on the clothes they currently offer or start offering higher end pieces that are actually worth the crazy high price tag.

Can I say, without sounding weird… The striped shirt made your bosom look attractive. No that’s not right but you know what I mean. It highlighted that area nicely.

I am just venturing into the world of strips, as I have always heard they make you look wider but I don’t always think that’s true. Those strips are really flattering on you. Hope I didn’t creep you out.

Wow overpriced. Can find those same brands at Norstrom Rack for half the price. Your so cute. Look forward to your reviews.

The Karen Kane top is cute and the lace-up detail is totally on-trend. I think it looks cute on you but for that price, you have to LOVE it and it doesn’t sound like you do. I’m always willing to pay more for black pants that fit well. But everything else is just OK, I think. Nothing screams “gotta have it.”

Agreed.

You look great. Those clothes though? Why is everything over $100? I wouldn’t consider a single one to be an investment piece.

I love your reviews! This is another good one! Do you sub to Gwynnie Bee too? I’ve been thinking of trying it out. I just got an email for half off two months. If you sub, what is your opinion? I wear a 12 (sometimes a 14, depending on the brand); is there a lot to choose from in the smaller size ranges? Just curious! Hope you are having a great week!

Hi Rhi! Thanks so much! Yes, I do, and I’ve posted a ton of Gwynnie Bee reviews in here. I love it, but I’m not sure about the smaller sizes. I think my review has a coupon for first month free, so you could always try it out. Good luck!

You look great in these pics, but the clothes are meh. Either they’re just weirdly ugly or basic but overpriced for what you get. The rose yoke top reminds me of what my grandma used to wear in the 80s.
