Every month, Target launches a beauty box, and it sells out very quickly. Usually boxes are sold out by the time I review them, but this month, the November Target Beauty Box is still available!

If you want to make sure you don’t miss out on the next Target Beauty Box, make sure to sign up for the My Subscription Addiction daily newsletter!

L’Oréal Voluminous Primer - FULL SIZE! Value $6

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0009

This primer is designed to give your lashes volume, conditioner lashes, and prime them for mascara.

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0010

It goes on white, and it's easily covered with mascara.

I was very impressed with this formula - SO much volume with only a few swipes! And it means I'll use less mascara per use, too!

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0014

Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in Black - FULL SIZE! Value $6

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0015

This eyeliner packaging is pretty slick!

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0016

The end cap is a removable smudger and pencil sharpener:

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0017

This liner is well pigmented and has good staying power, too. (Just make sure to let it dry for a minute before touching it!)

(Swatched in lower photo.)

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0012

HASK Keratin Protein Soothing Deep Conditioner - Value $2

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0013

This mask smelled lovely and also added moisture without making my hair too oily. (I did avoid massaging it into my roots, though!)

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0019

Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Beautiful Day Cream - 12 ml Value $6

Good news about this sample - this tube is completely full! This brand is new to me, and I was excited to try this day cream since it's made with organic, natural, and fair trade ingredients.

The formula is super light - I'd describe it as a gel/cream hybrid. It has a subtle rose scent, but it faded quickly, and the cream absorbed into my skin almost instantly as well.

If you are looking for a lightweight day cream, I recommend checking this out. If you need more moisture during the winter months, this may not be enough for you.

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0006

Laneige Water Bank Soothing Gel Mask – Value $4.80

This sheet mask is a little different than most sheet masks in that it comes in two parts. (That works great for me because my face doesn’t always match up well with the eye, nose and mouth holes on the one-sheet-fits-all masks.)

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0007

This mask is a 30-minute one. A little longer than I would have liked, but it left my skin feeling super soft and refreshed, so I can’t complain!

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0023

W3LL People Bio Brightener (Mini) - Value $11.99

FYI, the full-size version of this product comes in stick form, but the mini version is in a pot:

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0024

This is one of the most flattering highlighters I've ever tried. It's a creamy formula, super easy to blend in, and the end result is a glow/sheen, NOT a shimmer.

I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a natural highlighter look. Here it is swatched (not blended in) with the eyeliner from above:

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0021

L’Oréal Advanced HairCare Volume Filler Thickening Shampoo - 1.7 oz Value $.50

target-beauty-box-november-2016-0022

(FYI - this shampoo includes sulfates in the ingredients in case you are avoiding those in your hair care products.)

I tried this shampoo out and it seemed to work well enough! I don't have fine hair, so I didn't see much of a difference in volume, but as a shampoo, it worked well and this sample should be good for at least two uses.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $37. I think that's a great value for a $10 beauty box. I know this box wasn't as popular as other Target Beauty Boxes, but I ended up really enjoying it. The Andalou Naturals day cream was a nice discovery, and I'm IN LOVE with the W3LL People highlighter! (Plus it is great to see W3LL People included in a Target Beauty Box!)

Does anyone know when the December box is due? I can’t seem to find any info on a release date but I thought it should be soon.

I’m wondering also. Target had so many other variety type boxes this past month, such as…Advent, etc. Guess, they’re maxed out. However, they may surprise us with a late beauty box. Hope it’s good. November was pretty low budget, really bargain bin stuff.

I already had ordered this box, but this review made me order another! I am a sucker for eyeliner in any box. The well people and primer put this over the top. Plus the coupon!!! Last year, I think Target had 25% off everything on Black Friday and I was able to stock up on a lot of products. I am glad to have a 2nd coupon!

Kira

Ditto! I just ordered my 2nd box!

Jackie

It must be back in stock. It was unavailable when I checked earlier today. Just ordered.

Love this box!
The highlighter is amazing and the lash primer is a new staple for my routine!

Looks like USPS lost the package when it was handed off by UPS. I contacted Target and they provided me a refund, but has this happened with anyone else? I feel like USPS loses a lot of packages to never be found again.

CaseyDog44

Yep, mine was lost as well. This is actually the 2nd time–about a year ago they lost a men’s box that I ordered. I found getting the refund very difficult this time though. There is no where on the website to say “My package wasn’t delivered” or to email customer service, so I had to call & it wasn’t resolved on the first try either.

LOVING. THIS. BOX! I’m so happy I got two!

Enjoying the W3ll People and Andalou. I really like the hair mask too. Nice size for a foil pack. There was enough in there for me & my daughter (we both have medium length hair). Planning on breaking out the mask this weekend.

I think Target boxes are always great, but now I’m at the point of asking ‘do I really need this’ to decide if I should purchase. I love all the brands in this offering, so this box was totally a win for me. Can’t wait to see what will be in the Dec box!

The main reason I bought this box was for the W3ll People product and Andalou moisturizer. I’ll probably try to sell the other stuff as I only use natural brands. For me it was worth it as I was about to run out of the bio-brightening stick and didn’t feel like dropping 30$ right now.

Do you want to swap something for my W3ll People product? I won’t use it.

Reply ButtonReply

Taren

I just tried to buy it but says sold out. ?

MzBev

HAHA. I knew it! It was available for a WEEK, then within hours of her review? It sells out! They should be giving her a cut. Lol

Michele

I caved after reading your review of the lash primer! I loved the grande lash primer sample I received last month so much. This is def a great deal. I’m really looking forward to the W3ll people brightener and trying it as an eyeshadow primer.
Glad they didn’t sell out.

magoosmom

I’ve passed on the last umpteen Target boxes because it was so much repeat. I caved and bought this one because it was mostly new for a change. When it got here, the only things I thought I wouldn’t use were the primer and highlighter. Somehow that little highlighter has gotten in my head to try it (and I never use highlighter LOL) and so I’m off to delete it from my swaps and give it a go. Why not? Great box overall!

Eileen

I just snagged one after reading your review! Thanks!!!

Fran

I got my box and was missing the W3LL People Bio Brightener Stick. I’m upset because it was the thing I wanted to try the most. I ended up getting a $5 gift card because they are sold out of boxes. Still happy overall. Great items I am excited to try.

Amy

Fran, I have one I am not going to use.

amy_oravec

I don’t use highlighter. We could do a swap?

It was missing in my box too. I contacted them and they are sending me a new box. I must have called in the nick of ime before they sold out.

Reply ButtonReply

Vikki

Can someone please explain to me what the Well People bio brighter is and do you put it over your whole face? Sorry but I’m clueless on this one. Thanks!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

I use it as a highlighter for my cheeks or an eye shadow primer so far.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

Thank you so much! I had no idea what to do with this thing. I just smeared a tiny bit on my wrist to see the shade, but I actually don’t need it. I’m bummed out I paid $10 for my box, too. Other than that, I await to see what the next box has.

Vikki

Thanks Anna

Anna C.

I’ve been waiting for your review since I received my box. I was on the fence about the primer and the hair mask, but now I am keeping both to try! Thank you, I really liked this box and your review makes me like it even more!

I used to have that Well People brightener stick sample, didn’t know it was a $12 sample. I liked it at first, but over time I felt it didn’t blend into my dry skin very well. Kinda looked like it just sat on top. It also expired very fast.

Reply ButtonReply

Becca Mari

I received my box and W3LL People was missing. All there was was the lid to the pot. I contacted CS and they have shipped me a replacement box. I guess the box never sold out and they couldn’t just send the individual item. I did get a tracking # so hopefully everything will be in the new box. I liked the primer and the Andalou cream.

Reply ButtonReply

Andrea

I bought one (more out of habit than anything else) and oh man, I love it!! I opened it, saw how great everything was and then promptly went online and bought another one 🙂 The primer is incredible – I was wary of it and kinda peeved that I added another step to my routine, but it is TOTALLY worth it. Really glad I bought this box! Thanks Liz!

MzBev

Liz makes all of these boxes sound wonderful. Now, let’s see how quickly it sells out since this review was posted. Lol

Reply ButtonReply

Kay

Hi Liz, a strange question, but…. the eyeliner looks twist up, but comes with pencil sharpener? But the sharpener look really small, so maybe just to sharpen up the tip of this pencil for more fine lines? Just confused, lol.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Yes, the sharpener is to make the tip of the eyeliner sharper for a finer line. I guess even twist up liners get dull, making for a fatter line. I think including this little sharpener was a brilliant idea by Revlon (as I’ve never seen one attached to a twist up liner before), and I wish other companies would do the same.

Reply ButtonReply

Kay

Hi Luna, thanks for solving my mystery! I ordered this box shortly after Liz’s review and I am excited to try the primer and highlighter. I have been using powder highlighter forever (by Laura Mercier and very nice though), so it is nice to change up.

Leah

Has anyone tried using the highlighter as a cream eyeshadow? How does it perform in that capacity?

Reply ButtonReply

Becca Mari

After reading your post i tried it as an eyeshadow. It worked really well. It gives a nice shimmer and great for daytime looks. It lasted long time. I used primer first than used a setting spray.

Reply ButtonReply

Stacey

I loved this box. The eyelash primer is something I would NEVER have considered buying but I absolutely love it. It makes a huge difference with my eyelashes. More than got my money’s worth with this box. I’m 2/2 with the Target boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

Cornflake

For $10, this is great. I don’t make it to Target too often (not really convenient for me) and the eyelash primer alone is $9 where I would end up going. I would definitely buy that primer with your good feedback on it, so it’s hard to say no when I’m getting everything else for $1. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

I definitely recommend the primer. Hope you like it! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Trish

Me too! I was already using it since I first saw it on sale this past summer. It’s awesome for me because I have the teeny, tiniest and shortest eyelashes. Too much mascara just clumps- so one coat of primer and one coat of L’Oréal Voluminous and I darn near have daddy long leg lashes!

I do use a plastic teeth eyelash comb to even out the primer so I don’t get clumps.

Danielle

I was totally so-so on this box until this review! I can’t believe I managed to grab a box today- they usually sell out so fast. Score!!

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

Thanks for the heads up…Just went and snabbed one! I assumed it had sold out and didn’t check.

Reply ButtonReply

Renee

I loved this box! I really like the Andalou and always like face and hair masks. I’m looking forward to trying the primer, too. I did not need the shampoo, but will use it since my hair is fine.
