Here’s the first outfit my stylist sent me…
Excelsior Sparkle Tassel Pendant Necklace – Cost to Keep: $34
This necklace isn’t one I’d gravitate towards on my own but I actually love it. The length is great – longer than most necklaces I own.
Allison Joy Brushed Ribbed Cross Front in Wine – Cost to Keep: $88
Okay, I’m obsessed with this sweater. It fit great and was so comfortable! The color was also fantastic. I was so sad to send this back, but I just couldn’t personally justify spending $90 on a top right now. Another aspect I like about this subscription is that I can generally find the items they send on their store for the same price so it lets me keep an eye on items I’ve tried on and love but sent back – sometimes I can snag them during sales and clearance!
Beloved Classic Cami – Cost to Keep: $28
These beloved tanks are the signature tanks from Evereve. They’re seamless and stretchy while also supportive. Plus they come in every color. They’re really comfortable, and you can get them with straps or just spaghetti straps.
Mother the Looker Jeans – Cost to Keep: $99
These jeans were snagged off the clearance rack by my stylist – they normally cost $175, I think. While that’s a great deal, these jeans just didn’t wow me on, so I sent them back. That’s one hard part about this subscription sending full outfits is that a lot of those outfits include jeans (especially in fall/winter) and I’ve already bought many great pairs through my Trendsend boxes, so I have enough jeans!
Here’s a closer look at the pendant. It’s not usually my style but I’m digging the design!
Onto outfit #2…
Blank Power Trip Jacket – Cost to Keep: $98
I love that the name of this jacket is “Power Trip Jacket” because that’s exactly how I feel in this. The fit is amazing and the design is really nice (except I’m not 100% sure what the point of the extra random boob zipper is for – I think I’d love it if that weren’t there and this were just a super sleek paneled jacket). The quality is great, too – I was surprised to see this was only $100 because I expected it to be more from them.
Lysse Matte Gloss Mara Legging – Cost to Keep: $88
Okay, these leggings are amazing. They’re coated and look like a faux leather. They’re supportive in the tummy but really stretchy everywhere else. I don’t have a pair like this yet – I think I have to keep them!
Central Park West Gabby Cold Shoulder Sweater – Cost to Keep: $78
I love the color and fit of this top (and the uber trendy cold shoulder details) but the design had some weird parts that I didn’t care for. The shoulder cut outs were small and high so they ended up showing my bra straps a bit. Not a big deal but I’d have to monitor that a bit. Also, the sweater had these very deep side slits. I thought that made the silhouette feel odd.
Harriet Isles Wood and Bead Multi Strand Necklace – Cost to Keep: $44
This is a really interesting necklace! I like it paired with this top a lot, but I already have one so similar to it. I like the design and quality, though!
Verdict: This Trendsend by Evereve was great! I really liked everything my stylist picked. Ultimately, I had to keep the jacket and leggings, but I loved that crossover top, too!
I also want to note: often, a couple of my Trendsend pieces are on sale on Evereve’s website – which I think is particularly the case because I have “send me sale and clearance items” selected in my style profile. When I’ve emailed them about this difference, they’ve said they’ll give me the website price (this does not apply if you walk into a local store and see an item on sale for that location – they don’t price match store sales). If you subscribe, I would just suggest double-checking the website’s pricing before sending your items back to make sure that, if something is on sale, you can email or call and confirm you get the sale price. I’ve had no issues with this in the past.
