Now, onto the items!
EuGenia Essence of Lavender Shea Butter - 2 oz Value $12.50
This is made with only 5 ingredients: shea butter, shea oil, lavender essential oil, baobab oil, and moringa oil. (If you love a subtle lavender scent like I do - you will love this!)
The shea butter is solid in the tin, but it melts into your skin and is super moisturizing. (This tin is tiny, but a little goes a long way with shea butter, so it evens out!)
Goddess Garden Bright Eyes Firming Eye Cream - FULL SIZE! Value $18
This eye cream is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and it has a light, natural scent. It's designed to help depuff eyes, hydrate, and help fade fine lines.
I can't comment on the depuffing or fading lines aspects yet, but I could feel the hydrating benefits immediately.
Juara Coconut Illipe Hand & Nail Balm - 8 ml Value $2.15
(Good to know for swaps - has inner foil seal.)
This hand cream absorbs pretty quickly - so you don't have to worry about greasy hands. AND! If you love coconut/tropical/beachy scented products - this will be your favorite new hand cream!
LATHER Lavender & Eucalyptus Foot Creme - 2 oz Value $9
(Good to know for swaps - has inner foil seal.)
This foot cream was lighter than I expected! If you are looking for a quick-absorbing foot cream, this is it! The scent is a blend of lavender and eucalyptus, but for me, the only scent I can detect is the eucalyptus. (Still, a nice alternative to the usual peppermint foot creams!)
SPARITUAL Close Your Eyes Bath Salts - 1.5 oz Value $4.90
You can use a teaspoon of these salts with warm water for a manicure soak, 2 teaspoons for a pedicure, or a "generous amount" for a full body bath. (I'm guessing a generous amount will be this entire sample.)
These bath salts smell amazing, so I'll using them for the full body bath option!
Tatcha Polished Gentle Rice Enzyme Powder - Travel Size Value $15
YES! One of my favorite brands and products ever!
Good to know for swaps: has sticker seal:
Once you remove the sticker, there's a tab you can open to dispense the powder:
If you aren't familiar with this skin cleanser, here is how to use it:
Begin with wet hands and a wet face. Pour about half a teaspoon into hands, add water and rub hands together to create a creamy foam. Massage gently onto a wet face in circular motions for 10-20 seconds, avoiding eyes. Rinse and revel in your soft, smooth skin.
This is one of my favorite cleansers because it is gentle, but it still exfoliates and makes you skin super clean. (And it doesn't dry your skin out either.)
Chocolove Almonds & Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate - Value $3
I'm not always a dark chocolate fan, but the crunchy almonds and sea salt crystals made me a fan of this bar!
BUT! My favorite sweet in this box is:
JJ's Sweets Vanilla Cocomels (2) - Value $.50
These cocomels are caramels made with coconut milk, and they are the best dairy-free candy I've ever tried.
I wish there were more in the box, but I will eat as many Cocomels as you put in front of me, so maybe Yuzen was doing me a favor! 😉
Verdict: This box has a value of about $65. I think that's great for a $33 all-natural beauty and spa box, plus I pretty much always love everything Yuzen sends. There were so many of my favorite brands in this box!
What do you think of the Winter 2016 Yuzen box? What is your favorite item?
