BeautyCon sent me two of the spoilers in the upcoming Winter 2016 BeautyCon Box to review and answer any questions you might have about them!

First up, this exclusive ColourPop lippie:

ColourPop Lippie Stix in BeautyCon Pink - Value $5

beautycon-gwp-december-2016-0005

I've tried ColourPop Lippie Stix before, and I like the formula and coverage.

It provides moisture, a hint of shine, and a good amount of color, too.

This BeautyCon shade is super wearable for me, too. Here it is swatched:

This is a lip neutral I can wear every day - I love it!

Skinvolve Beauty Karate Cream - Value $40

This body cream is a great size (8 oz). It's designed with caffeine and argan oil to help hydrate, tone, and smooth your skin. (AKA - decrease the appearance of cellulite!)

I've tried quite a few cellulite creams over the years, and I do see results with caffeine creams (even if the results are temporary.)

I like how light this cream is - it absorbs in seconds. (I've tried other cellulite creams that took way too long to absorb.) And the formula is paraben and sulfate free, too!

The immediate result from using this lotion is more hydrated skin, but I'm hoping with continued use I'll see smoother skin, too. (One tip I recommend for maximizing results is to apply it then massage it in with a cellulite tool. I use this one.)

One other thing to note, this cream has a light floral/rose scent. It wouldn't be my first pick for a scent, but I don't mind it either.

That’s a shame. I love Colourpop but that lippie is much too warm/nude for me. Off to swap it goes.

I can’t wait to receive my box! Been waiting on this for a while, I guess I’m one of the few, but I always enjoy beautycon. Finally a lip color and a body lotion that I will actually use. I have a bunch of expensive ones I haven’t even touched. It’s always nice getting boxes that feature an expensive product I would normally not be able to afford, but that also means if I fall in love with the item I likely will not be repurchasing it, which can be a bummer. I just can’t justify spending $200+ on a single skincare item or paying $50+ for a single eyeshadow palette, no matter how great it is. That’s never the case with Beautycon. I like that they include a lot of items and that they are all inexpensive enough for me to repurchase separately if I like anything. Boxycharm, Beautycon and Beautyfix are life! lol

It’s called Beautycon, I think the color is cookie~

It’s odd to me that they would include a cellulite cream to a box that they are aiming at teens. Wasn’t that their shtick?

Jessica

Teens have cellulite also….? I know I’ve literally had cellulite on my thighs since I was 12 or 13 because I’m very pear-shaped.

Anna

Same here! Thick girls 😀😀

Marion

Love both spoilers! I’m excited about this box!

I was hoping for some good spoilers to get me to re-sub. Unfortunately, lotion of any kind will never entice me to spend money, especially when the other spoiler is a $5 lippie. But darn if you don’t sell it Liz with your awesome review and presentation.

Also, note to beauty con- you should just price the box at $40 and call it a day, stop advertising it as $35.99 plus $6.99 shipping. That puts off so many potential buyers.

how did you get them to cancel your sub, for the 3rd time today I was charged for a box and I cancelled before the summer box, but they keep charging me, I spoke to the CS numerous times and it’s getting frustrating, I can’t even access my account, because it says I don’t have any active subs and that’s what CS Is saying too, but they still charge me!!! I hate them

Log into your bank account, or PayPal if you used that, select the items and dispute the charges. Have the dates and order numbers ready as they may ask for more details.
You should be able to get your money back for all the unwanted boxes if you have proof of cancellation – like an email.
I had to do that with a sub, it’s worth the small hassle.

Britt

Thats so true. On a lot of things when I go to checkout and see a shipping charge I rethink my whole purchase and usually dont end up ordering. If they would just price it at 40…as you said, I would be less hesitant with an order. Which is kind of ridiculous because its the sam price..but still!

nana

Pricing it at $40 would mean they’d lose $3 – right now it’s $43.

But yes, I hate boxes that don’t include shipping. But my problem with Beautycon is their ridiculous and deceitful cancelling policy.

Megan

(It’s actually $29 + $6.99 = $35.99)

monah

I agree! I’ve always wondered why they dont do that. Seeing a $6.95 shipping costs makes the box not seem worth it.
