Birchbox Man January 2017 Sample Choice Spoilers

I’m having issues, too. I started trying on the 10th because I was supposed to get early access. The site just said to come back later, so I assumed I was too early. I then tried again yesterday and kept getting the same result. Now that I’m trying today, it says customization is closed. Did Birchbox even allow customization this month? Or are they letting everyone think they missed the window just to be able to give everyone a random sample (i.e., thinning out their old stock)? I know most people love Birchbox, but I’ve had some issues lately with items missing from my box or just being damaged. Customer service responds fairly quickly, but I have to follow up repeatedly because replacement items never get shipped and after waiting a couple of weeks before following up, I’m told “Oh, sorry. They’re out of stock now, so can you pick something else?”. Then I go through the same cycle with the second replacement order! Sorry for the long rant, but sometimes it seems like I’m the only one experiencing so-so service from Birchbox, and now I’m having these customization issues. I hate to cancel the sub, but the work involved in this box lately just really grinds my gears!
