Starbucks Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa - Value $0.87
This hot cocoa is super rich and creamy, and the sweetness is just right for my tastes. It's perfect for a quick winter pick-me-up.
Belgian Boys Stroopwafel - Value $1.29
It's such a shame that I was only recently introduced to the amazing world of stroopwafels. This is a game changer! Smooth caramel cream is sandwiched between two waffle-cone-wafer hybrid cookies for a mouthwatering combination. It is delicious by itself or with tea or coffee or milk. It's a good thing there are two stroopwafels per pack because my boyfriend and I surely would have gotten in a fight had there been only one.
Sheila G's Brownie Brittle Chocolate Chip with White Drizzle, 4 oz - Value$2.79
I am obsessed with Sheila G's Brownie Brittle. Just when you think brownie brittle cannot be more amazing, these ones with white chocolate drizzle comes along. The drizzle adds extra creamy sweetness which complements the chocolatey crunch but never overwhelms the original brownie flavor. It's tragic that this flavor is only around for the holiday season!
Boom Chicka Pop Holidrizzle Frosted Sugar Cookie Popcorn, 4.5 oz - Value $4.99
This is another incredibly addictive snack that's only available for the holiday season. The pink sugar sprinkles and sugar frosting drizzle elevates the typical flavor of kettle corn. I feel like it adds unique texture to the popcorn as well.
Forto Cold Brewed Coffee Energy Shot in Mocha, 2 oz - Value $1.66
This is a sweet, flavored black coffee energy shot. It's USDA organic and fair trade certified. While I usually dislike black coffee, this one has enough flavor and sweetness to keep me happy. It has 200mg of caffeine per bottle, which is the equivalent of two cups of coffee.
Krave Chili Lime Beef Jerky - Value $7
This beef jerky is a little dry but chewy. The chili lime flavor is a tad too spicy for me (this is the type of spice that builds upon each other the more you eat) but I think it goes well with the sweet and tangy undertones.
Nissin Cup Noodles Chicken Ramen - Value $0.93
Ramen isn't just a food source for college students-- it's a lifestyle! Nissin Cup Noodles are one of my favorites. All it takes is boiled water and a couple minutes to cook. This is about as good as it gets in terms of quick-and-easy meals.
Dove Men's Deodorant, 0.5 oz - Value $0.99
This is a mini deodorant. It is smaller than the width of my palm, so it's perfect for traveling as well as for daily use. I like the clean, unisex scent.
Harry's Truman Razor in Total Orange - Value $17
This razor is made with a comfortable, matte rubbery grip plus a weighted core for better control. The blades have a flexible hinge and lubricating strip. Overall, it looks and feels like a high-quality item. The box includes a coupon code to redeem four free blades plus free shipping from the Harry's website (redeemable for new customers). The razor costs $9 while the redeemable blades are worth $8.
Harry's Foaming Shave Gel, 4 oz - Value $4
This shaving gel contains aloe and cucumber and lathers into plush foam. It smells like "typical" men's cologne to me, but my nose can't discriminate fragrances very well to begin with. My boyfriend used and liked it.
Panasonic Ergofit Stereo Headphones - Value $9.40
My boyfriend, a self-proclaimed audiophile, tells me that this is the best-sounding earbuds for the price point. I'm impressed with the sound quality myself. They reproduce both low and high frequencies well, and they wear comfortably for an extended period of time. They get great reviews on Amazon too. Plus, they're blue, which is my favorite color.
Sinjipouch Smartphone Wallet in Royal Blue - Value $9.99
This is an adhesive wallet or pouch that you can attach to the back of a smartphone. The pocket is made of stretchy fabric that gives you the flexibility to store credit cards, keys, or knickknacks. I think this is a convenient and useful accessory, especially for college students.
Verdict: CampusCube has really been getting better and better. I loved the holiday edition snacks as well as the super practical items. The total retail value is $60.91, which is lower than the Girl's Winter Box but still great value. My only qualm is that the Guys and Girls box should be closer together in value for the same box, but other than that, everything was amazing!
