Cat Claws Club is a bi-monthly subscription box for cats filled with lots of toys, treats, and other surprises. (They just use whatever box will fit the items, so it varies from month to month, but it allows for some unusual item shapes, which can be fun!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
The Subscription Box: Cat Claws Club
The Cost: $33.90 a box ($24.95 subscription price + $8.95 shipping)
The Products: Lots of cat items, mostly toys, including some exclusive and/or new items.
Good to know: Although PayPal checkout shows as an option for this subscription, you can’t actually pay for the subscription with PayPal. I checked out that way the first time and they contacted me, processed a PayPal refund, and I had to resubscribe with a credit card number.
Ships to: U.S.

Included was a brochure with more information about the products. There was also a card asking subscribers to share on social media.
M.A.X. Scratcher with Winter Print – Value $15?
This wasn’t available on the Cat Claws site; I think it is exclusive to the box. It is a nice change of pace from flat scratchers, although watch out because the bottom is open, so you may get catnip everywhere.
Snack ‘n Treat Savory Shrimp (2 oz) – Value $5.99 (regularly $9.99)
This is freeze dried shrimp. My cats are iffy on this. Sometimes they like it and sometimes they don’t care for it as much. It is worth trying at least once and it does come in smaller bags if you just want to test it out.
Holiday Mice and Stocking Trio – Value $4.95
We got this in the December Purr Packs, too. I love the little sparkle ball ears on the mice. Small catnip toys are usually a hit with us so I was happy to see these!
Jolly Door Bouncer Toy – Value $7?
This was unbranded so the value is an estimate based on similar items. When I have had toys like this in the past, they seemed to be the biggest hits with younger cats. I am hopefully getting a kitten soon, though!
Christmas Yarnimals (2, tree and snowman) – Value $4
Yay! Madison loves these. We got some ghosts in the October box and he had so much fun. I have to watch him, though, as he really tries to tear these apart.
Inaba Ciao Churu Treat (tuna flavor, 1 pack) – Value $0.75
Best. Treat. Ever. We received this in a past box and it was a huge hit. I was SO HAPPY to get another one. You can see for yourself below.
I went overboard with the cat pictures. You’ll see why!
You can’t really see his face, but Madison thought this yarn toy was AWESOME.
Mr. Kitty wasn’t in the mood to play but I did take the opportunity to pose him with one of the toys.
Those treat pouches are wonderful. Funniest photos I’ve taken in a long while. I love all the kitty tongues! (Mr. Kitty can’t have this due to his IBD.)
Verdict: I calculated a value of about $37.69 for the December Cat Claws Club. The booklet that came with this said the retail value was over $45 and I can believe that. As you see above, I had to estimate some prices, and there were also a few sale prices included above. So I definitely could be off. More importantly, either way, the value is above the cost of the box. I was happy to get more Yarnimals and of course the tuna pouch was very fun once again.
