The Youtuber who designed the first palette is Kelly Strack - she made video tutorials for using this palette (now on Deck of Scarlet's Facebook page.)

Now, time to look at this palette!

The top has two separate magnetic flap closures, so you can keep one side covered if you like:

It has a slot for the eyeliner or lipliner, and there's an eyeliner included as well.

This set includes two lip glosses, three eyeshadows, 2 cheek colors, and an eyeliner and a lipliner.

Everything in this palette had excellent pigment. The lip creams are pretty goopy (I never really like lip glosses in palettes - I prefer them in tubes!), but the colors are gorgeous. The eyeshadows have a good amount of shimmer (especially the shades on each end). And I like that they included both a powder and cream cheek color!

Here is everything swatched:

Jackpot Lip Color, Flush Lip Color, Irresistible Eyeshadow, Lucky Eyeshadow, Loot Eyeshadow, Bluff Powder Blush, Playtime Cream Blush. (Lust & Chocolate Eyeliner and Oh So Nude Lipliner.)

Here are the two liners:

Oh So Nude Lipliner

As you can see in the swatch picture, these also have excellent pigment, and they go on so smoothly.

Lust & Chocolate Eyeliner

And each liner has a built in sharpener!

Verdict: I am seriously impressed with the formulas in this palette! And I love that they included 2 full-size liners as well - the value is definitely there for me at the $30 price point. I also like that this subscription ships every other month. (Not that I wouldn't love getting a palette every month, but this seems like a more manageable cadence for a full look makeup subscription.)

I love this subscription!! I only got one palette so far, the may/June pallete with the most gorgeous purple in it. All the colors and lip products are so pigmented and the powders blend beautifully. They are powdery but they are not patchy and are so easy to work with. I’m a neutral make up lover and these pallets force me to get outside my comfort zone and get creative and play with new looks. I’m very happy with it and look forward to the sept/oct palette! I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves make up and is a collector or someone who sticks to their “signature look” on the daily, give this subscription a try you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered the March palette by Evon Wahab, after I saw it all over Pinterest. I was so excited for the colors. But the palette is total crap, like drugstore quality or worse. The powders don’t blend AT ALL. The shimmer in the orange and golden shades is super chunky, like kids makeup from the mall. And, worst of all, they irritated my eyes, and I never get irritated by eyeshadow! HARD PASS.

Not a fan.. I “won” a free eyeliner that they were supposed to mail to me in November, and it’s already the second week of December. I even contacted their CS, and no response. I feel cheated, so I don’t think I’ll be signing up for their subscription.

I did too and it came in mid-late December. I am impressed with it though. It’s a nice eyeliner.

I’m so glad I signed up for this! The colors are so perfect for me- and I need a nude lip liner that works. I’ve been loving all the “looks” they’ve been highlighting on Twitter & Instagram. I’ll take any help I can get with applying my makeup ( not into YouTube videos- some are so long & all the same thing).
If I can cure my drugstore makeup habit with spending just $15 per month I’ll be thrilled! I overspend on junk that I either don’t like or looks like crap on me. Hope my box arrives soon.

Wow, these shades are absolutely gorgeous! If I hadn’t just gotten two palettes from PS boxes I would consider getting this. I’ll have to save it to my wishlist!

Given that eventually you’ll wind up with a ‘deck’ of identical slim black palettes, it would be nice if they labeled the spine with the YouTube designer or a name for the look inside. (Just to make it easier to find the right palette.)

Is it free shipping with this box?

This looks pretty cool! I would totally do it if I were into palettes more, I like palettes for my Eyeshadows mainly. Don’t know how I feel about the price tag. I can appreciate the youtuber videos that go with the palette, cool! I think I’d try it with a coupon!

I’m in total love! I used to sub to Wantable’s Makeup, but I hated that their boxes were nevver cohesive. Each box was all over the spectrum. This is cheapr, seems more high end, AND it’s cohesive (AND there are videos to give me ideas on how to wear my cohesive, high end makeup? WHAT?!). I AM SOLD.

I like that there’s a split cover. One of the things that I personally can’t abide about full face palettes is how powder always ends up in the lip products. Seems like this design might help with that.

That’s a great observation!! Brilliant design!
