Le Tote is a month-to-month clothing rental subscription. When you sign up, you browse their catalog of clothing and accessories and create your “closet,” from which they select items to send to you. You keep the clothing to wear as long as you like, and you can also send back your box for a new selection of items as frequently as you like. If you love something enough to want to purchase it, you can simply hold onto it when you send the rest of that box back. Also, if you purchase your whole tote, you get one month free!

FYI – the items in my Le Tote boxes are selected for me based off of my preferences and style profile, so your boxes may look completely different!

Summer & Sage Pinstripe Maxi Dress – retail: $80, Le Tote price: $64

So, I loved this dress. The length was more midi than maxi on me, but it worked. I love the stripes and that the white wasn’t see-through at all. However, it has ruched sides which just makes this seem so much like a maternity dress. A super fab maternity dress, but just not very flattering for the stomach if you’re not pregnant. I totally considered buying this for some time in the distant future when I get pregnant again but I thought $64 is a little much to buy a dress just to stash it until “some day.”

Summer & Sage Mixed Media Henley Dress – Retail: $78, Le Tote Price: $62

This dress was cute! Casual, easy, flattering, and comfortable.

Nine West Blue Lagoon Chandelier Earrings – retail: $30, Le Tote Price: $24

These earrings are way different than what I usually wear but they are so cute. I love the colors – greys and blues go so well with my wardrobe. I think they’re a good size for statement without being too heavy or overbearing.

The Sak Beaded Link Necklace – retail: $29, Le Tote Price: $23

I loved this! I wore it non-stop while I had my tote. It’s so me – simple, silver, goes with any outfit, easy. Kinda wishing I had kept it.

French Connection Siberian Sweater Tunic – retail: $138, Le Tote price: $59

This tunic ran small and was really itchy, so I never actually wore this out anywhere. The look is cute, though! If there was a slightly different material and fit then I’d be all about this.

And now for my second Le Tote in November…

Octavia Crochet Trim Sweater – Retail: $72, Le Tote price: $58

I liked this top much more than I thought I would. It’s not my usual style, especially because of the crochet detail, but it’s so close to a tee that I like it. Plus I think the cut is really flattering.

Cole Haan Two Layer Crystal Necklace – retail: $58, Le Tote Price: $44

I really love this necklace! Simple, but with a special design to make it a little different. I wore this all the time while I had it and I really wanted to buy it. I’m having a little regret for not keeping it, too.

Noir Cold Shoulder Sweater – retail: $72, Le Tote Price: $58

I may not look like it in the photo (sorry, I must have been having an off day), but I really like this top. I really love the lines along the top. I dig the cold shoulder trend lately but the twist on the straps here are just a great extra detail.

Vince Camuto Floral ¾ Sleeve Dress – retail: $128, Le Tote price: $96

This dress has such a chic and classic design. I love the longer sleeves. I think the floral print is pretty too but I feel like the horizontal stripes here and there do weird things to the eye. I think it makes the print more modern, though, so it may not be a big deal.

Nine West Capri Blue Necklace – retail: $34, LT Price: $27

I thought this necklace was really pretty, and I don’t have many statement necklaces, so I bought this!

Verdict: November was a great month for me from Le Tote! I liked pretty much everything, loved a few pieces, and – ugh – I totally should have bought the two silver necklaces. I’m kicking myself for that.

My very favorite part of this sub is that I can keep the items as long as I like and wear them before deciding if I want to buy them or send them back. Sometimes it takes feeling how a piece wears before realizing that it won’t actually work for you, or that it’s itchy, or stretches out easily, or something like that. I also feel like there is minimal pressure to buy items since it is a rental service and not a styling service. I feel this aspect gives me permission to enjoy (and wear!) the clothes and not feel bad or awkward when I send everything back (even though I do often keep an item per tote sometimes).

Evaluating the value is a little tricky because I think the value of renting clothes and accessories is pretty subjective and different for everyone. I can see this being a great service for someone who uses a “capsule wardrobe” or someone who doesn’t like to wear the same thing twice or has a lot of social events to go to, or even women in the process of losing weight!

Are you still subscribing to Le Tote? Is there anything like le Tote or RTR? I have been with Le Tote for almost a year. I took a break in the fall and am thinking I may do so again. They need to update the selections.

I love your triangle and circle stud earrings-do you mind me asking where they are from? They look great with the various earrings you receive in your boxes and I want something basic like that to pair with the ones I receive!

Kali – I bought them on Amazon! There’s a cube in the set, too. I love how they’re tiny and silver and geometric, and that the set of 3 works great in my 3 piercings.

If you copy/paste “Lureme Classic Jewelry Brass 4mm Cube Square Stud Earrings for Women” into Amazon and select the “silver set” option – that’s the set I purchased. Hope that helps!

LOVE that cold shoulder sweater. Only thing that would have made it better was if it was black (or brown, or charcoal). But even in that white(ish?) shade, it’s awesome. Fits great, and it’s different from everything everyone else has. For me, everything else, except maybe the floral dress, was just meh. Not horrible, but when you get as many try-ons as you do in your position with MSA, not impressive. Now that I looked back again, the dress and the Siberian sweater are ok too, but the cold-shoulder top is the best item in this review.

Le Tote is my current subscription box obsession.

I also regretted sending back that two layer necklace, and I’ve just added that beaded one and the crochet trip sweater to my closet. Thanks for the great reviews!

I didn’t see “maternity” at all! In fact, I thought it gave nice curves and waist. Sorry to say,but I think you may regret sending back the Cole double necklace 😞. Sorry to be Debby Downer. You have a fortunate problem…….everything looks great on you. I wish I had your problem!!!!!!!!

The Cole Haan necklace looks like the little alien guys from Toy Story😂 Cute. I love the first dress, but I feel ya on the maternity thing.
