mine-chest-december-2016-booklet

This month's theme is Home Sweet Home! One of the few things I have ever seen and understood in Minecraft was when my eight-year-old built a house for me. It was made of lapis! How fancy!

We usually get a sort of cryptic postcard in Mine Chest with hints as to what everything inside the box is, but this month we received this very nice holiday card.

mine-chest-december-2016-tee

Exclusive Minecraft Tee - Value $15?

It's so funny, my ten-year-old asked me for an ugly Christmas sweater, and Mine Chest totally delivered for me! It's a really nice long sleeve tee, with a lovely blocky house, all the implements for construction, and surrounded by potions! This was a big win!

Mine Chest Exclusive Sticker - Value $1?

These are all home parts, and the cool thing about these exclusive stickers is that they can be arranged to build whatever you like. Just like in Minecraft!

Stamp Block - Value $5?

This is another Mine Chest exclusive! My sons and I were kind of stumped about what exactly the pattern is, but we are assuming it's another home building block. I actually really like the block itself, with the Minecraft bookshelves all over it.

Minecraft Exclusive Pin- Value $5?

It's another Mine Chest exclusive! This is a potion, apparently. 'Tis the season, I guess!

mine-chest-december-2016-cutters

Cookie Cutters - Value $3?

Yes, we definitely will be using these this holiday season! These are cookie cutters in the shape of a potion and a Minecraft style snowman! These are super cute.

mine-chest-december-2016-spider

mine-chest-december-2016-spider-2

Crawling Spider - Value $18.81 USD

So cool! My eight-year-old was very excited to receive this toy. It's a spider (with a loose spider eye that I don't fully understand) with "scurrying action." You pull it backward on the floor and it self-propels forward.

Verdict: This was an awesome holiday package from Mine Chest! The tee and spider were especially wonderful. I think the value of everything this month adds up to about $48, which is great for a $37 box. This is such a fun subscription for Minecraft fans!

Write customer service at loot crate. I’ve had nothing but good experiences when I’ve had to contact them.

We didn’t get a scurrying spider in our chest. We got an arrow firing large sized Alex figure, which my son LOVED more than if he’d gotten the spider. The shirt was bigger than the small shirts usually come so it bothers my son, but I’ll loved that it was a long sleeve ugly tee. We somehow, by we I mean my son, misplaced the cookie cutters merely hours before we made our cookies. So we used last year’s ninja bread cutters instead. Last month’s crate with the backpack was the best!!!! Evan bought hanger blind bags with his Christmas money, among other Minecraft items, to clip to the backpack clips.

I thought the 6 month subscribers that were “founding” members were going to get a bonus shirt at the end of their subscription. Did anyone else get anything last month?

I think the stamp is supposed to be a book? I hope when the subscription will keep giving out this level of quality items when it switches over to Loot Crate!
