Christmas Morning Pancake Mix - Value $8.95
We are a pancake-loving family and I’m excited to make these on Christmas morning with the kids. All you need to add is milk and eggs, so it couldn’t be easier. I think the tiny whisk is adorable too.
Gingerbread Pecan Brittle by Heathers Confections - Value $6.00
I’ve never tried gingerbread brittle before and this is tasty. Sweet, crunchy and with a nice gingerbread spiced kick. Heathers Confections has some very interesting brittle flavors on their website, I may have to order a few others!
Santa Socks - Value $5.00
These Sock It To Me Santa socks are very festive. These will be fun to wear to school on “warm and fuzzy day” right before winter break when everyone dresses in pajamas.
Wooden Merry Christmas Ornament - Value $4.00?
I like this rustic wooden ornament; it’s large but very lightweight. It is wrapped in rope and accented with a large burlap bow at the top. Ornaments that aren’t fragile are key this year with our young children in the house.
Holiday Specs - Value $1.47
These are so much fun! When you look at holiday lights each light looks like a glowing rainbow candy cane. My kids kept fighting over them when we drove around our town looking at holiday lights a couple of nights ago. Looks like I’ll need to pick up a few more pairs. I think these would make great stocking stuffers for all the kids in my family too.
Rudolph’s Favorite Creamy Cocoa by McStevens (1.25 oz.) - Value $1.59
This is a cute little packet of cocoa mix. It’s enough to make one mug and can be mixed with either hot water or milk. I thought it just tasted ok, nothing amazing, but not bad either.
Verdict: With Christmas only weeks away I'm enjoying My Christmas Crate even more. I love how opening the box each month brings a little holiday cheer into our house. This month’s value was a somewhat disappointing $27. I hope that the value increases for next month’s box to be over cost. My favorite items this month were the holiday specs and ornament.
