My Geek Box is a monthly geek and gamer box that ships from the UK. They have recently opened a US site as well - making it much easier to buy this box state-side.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Be sure to check out the past reviews and comments before buying - some have had troubles with cancellation and shipments.

Friends Don't Lie Shirt - Value $15?

Each month includes an exclusive shirt. This month features a quote and theme from Stranger Things - in classic Stranger Things font. I love the title font they chose, it really reminded me of Stephen King - that was a good place to start!

I'm not sure if there were variations in what you might receive, but I received Garruk Wildspeaker - on of the best helmets out there!

Venom Mug - Value $14.99 (now out of stock, based on previous review)

This one is a throwback - I received this in the August 2015 Loot Crate Villians box!

Champions #1 - Value $4.99 + Exclusive variant cover

I just received this issue in the October Comic Block - but I highly recommend it to anyone craving a new super-team.

It's got great artwork and the beginning of a run story for a new team.

Fantastic Beasts Map - Value $10?

The final item is a map from the recent Fantastic Beasts movie.

It unfolds to a 36x24 map!

Verdict: This was a bit of a tough month for me personally because there were some duplicate items. That being said, the value was there and these wouldn't be duplicates for most subscribers - so it's probably a win for most people. I like to see them including an info card - hopefully, that's a move towards focusing on the box a bit more.

So I just received notice that I had a parcel to pickup. When I arrived, I was told I owed $91.44 on this package. I asked for an explanation. Mygeek box had a declaration value of 171.33 GBP.
Looking over your pricing I’d be lucky to give it a $60 value. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with MGB.
