Ivy & Birch Greeting Cards - Value $9.92 USD

I celebrate Christmas, but I have family and friends who are busy with other celebrations this time of year. It can be so tough to find non-Christmas cards that are still cute and true to my and my recipients' personalities. So I was thrilled to see these beautiful cards in this box!

There are six cards here—three are the ivy design, and three are the birch trees. I think the birch is my favorite, just because of the color palette, but I love the stars in the background of each design.

The cards are blank inside, but on the back, there's a little information about the featured flora and its traditional relationship to the season.

I think these cards are so lovely! I especially like the ice-blue envelopes they come with.

Wild Ireland 2017 Calendar - Value $5.21 USD

This calendar is about the size of a paperback novel and comes packaged neatly in this sleeve. If you gift this calendar to a friend or loved one, you can fill out their info in the given address space.

The glossy calendar features images of Ireland's most striking landscapes.

Here's all of them depicted on the back of the calendar. I think July (also on the cover) or October are my favorites. The notes of lilac purple against the greens and grays of the earth are really incredible.

The images appear portrait style. If you're the kind of person who's always looking toward what's on the horizon, there's a thumbnail of next month's image on the top corner of the page!

These date boxes aren't the biggest since the calendar is pretty small already. Still, this calendar will be handy for small notes about birthdays and other simple reminders.

There's even some information about the island included. Nice!

Crocheted Irish Fairy Ornament - Value $10.00 USD?

Aw, this crocheted angel is so sweet! She was made exclusively for MyIrelandBox, so you won't find her anywhere else. Her feet are jingle bells, which make the most delicate little sounds.

This ornament is filled with fluff, so she's squishy and soft. I'm so charmed by this little angel!

I like her sparkly wings a bunch, though I think my favorite detail is her tiny top knot. It gives her a bit of a balletic, Nutcracker vibe, don't you think?

Herringbone Scarf - Value $34.40 USD

This is a really beautiful lambswool scarf. It's not as scratchy as traditional woolen scarves can be, plus it feels incredibly lightweight.

The fringe and color feel so festive. Can you imagine this over a rich burgundy sweater?

I love that it's not solid green, too. The herringbone pattern gives this accessory some extra visual interest that I think is so cool. It's a less traditional take on a timeless item.

Verdict: I liked this month's MyIrelandBox a lot. The items were perfect for the season and echoed Ireland in unique, unexpected ways. The value of the box is about $60.00, which is above the $45.00 price. Of course, after shipping costs, this box gets pretty steep. All of the items inside are of lovely quality, but unless you're passionately interested in true Irish products, then this box might not be worth it for you. I think this box banks a lot of its value on delivering a unique, authentically Irish experience, not just on the products inside.

They’re such neat items, right? The greeting cards in particular have been serving me particularly well this season. They’ve even caused a few “wow” moments! Thanks for reading, Lola!
