There is a new candle subscription box from Nest Fragrances, and of course I had to subscribe immediately. (I love their candles!)

Each month you'll receive a classic candle, a votive candle, and one surprise item - all in the same scent!

This packaging is fantastic. It's a high-end gift box that you'll definitely want to keep and re-use. (And if you are thinking about buying this subscription as a gift, it's already perfectly wrapped each month!)

Now, onto the items!

Birchwood Pine Classic Candle - Value $40

As always, the packaging of Nest Candles is stunning!

next-by-nest-fragrances-december-2016-0009

And the scent is fabulous, too! This scent is the first Nest Candle I ever samples - and it is the reason I'm hooked! The scent is described as a blend of "white pine, fir balsam and Birchwood over a base of rich musk and amber."

And with this subscription, in addition to the large candle (50-60 burn time), you also get a mini votive candle in the same scent:

Birchwood Pine Votive Candle - Value $16

This has a 20-hour burn time and the same glass design as the larger candle. And the boxes are both decorated with gold glitter! Either of these candles would make a lovely gift - if you are willing to part with them!

And each month will also include a surprise gift:

Hearth Votive Candle - Value $16

What a nice surprise to get another candle in an additional scent as the bonus item! (Between this box and the November box, I now have all the holiday scents!)

This candle fragrance is described as "the aroma of a wintertime fire created by combining rich oud wood with frankincense and hints of smoky embers." In other words, it smells like a cozy cabin with a fire going!

Verdict: I'm very happy with my latest month of Next by Nest Fragrances. I love that the bonus item this month was their other holiday fragrance they hadn't sampled in the box yet. A perfect way to end the year!

This box has a value of $72. I think that's good for a $56 subscription, and that's not including the value of the box itself.

What do you think of the December Next by Nest Fragrances box? What's your favorite scent so far?

Starting at $56.00

I just got my first box yesterday. 🙂 I’m really pleased. I think I’m going to subscribe to this for the entire year! I decided to give this box to my daughter for Christmas. (I did swipe the Birchwood Pine votive out of the box for myself however lol)
I have been curious about sub boxes for a while but have never seen one until now with such a great value AND guaranteed something I know I’ll like each month. Even if I get an occasional scent I don’t care for, it’s still awesome. Someone I know is bound to love it. 🙂 I can’t wait to see my daughters face when she gets it, she loves candles as much as I do. This is going to be such a fun subscription for 2017!

Are we able to get this box if we order now?

I don’t think so… I tried to sign up yesterday, but it showed January as the next box for me.

I *really* want this box. I’ve been looking at Nest candles enviously in stores but I have so many candles at home right now. I have been burning candles and am almost done with pumpkin scented so I can move on the wintersscents. I am going to have to wait now as 3 months is the minimum and March is lavender which I do not like at all so hopefully I like April/May/June. I guess that’s good because by then I will recover from all my black friday sub box spending.

I love this sub! My jaw dropped when I saw the beautiful box then the gorgeous design on the glass. November and December are both gold tones so the look (and scents) blend together nicely.

I wish there was a way to buy this box individually – it looks wonderful!

I’m looking for suggestions for Christmas gifts for my dad and step-mother. They are the type that have everything they want and if they want something they go get it. They are also a bit uppity. Hopefully someone will have some ideas for me LOL thank you

Beekman 1802 has a variety of really nice gift subscriptions options and items available. Along with the usual gift baskets/sets, Costco sells many different trip packages and gift card options. You don’t even have to be a member to purchase many of the items on Costco.com.

(forgot to mention that the Beekman’s also have a few trips listed on their site as well!)

I’m in the same exact situation. I agree with Megan. I usually end up getting them experience type gifts. Concerts, restaurants, wine tastings….things like that. And yes Groupon!!

What do they like? You can always get a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant, or a spa day or something like that.

Check out Robb Vices reviews – there really isn’t anything else like it. It’s unique and very high quality.
Or if they’re foodies, maybe something like Yummy Bazaar? All of their boxes seem to be great (even of its not my taste).

Both of those boxes are on my wishlist for *someday*. (Bespoke Post is also great, but Robb Vices just has the “wow” factor)

Why not buy an experience type gift if they have everything they want? Like, concert or theatre tickets or a helicopter ride or wine tasting, whatever seems like it would suit them. Groupon has neat things all the time.

Oh man. I’m obsessed with these candles. Holiday is my fave, and these two are close behind!
