Reusable/Compact Tote - Listed Value $7

The accessory item this time around is a reusable tote bag! It's similar to Baggu bags, but the material used here is a little stiffer than Baggu's version. This tote folds into an attached pouch that, when unfolded, turns into a useful side pocket. There were various designs sent out and I love the floral print on mine. As a fan of Baggu bags and being environmentally friendly, I'm very excited to add more reusable totes to my shopping bag arsenal.

Leaders 7 Wonders Tundra Cranberry Anti-Aging Mask - Value $6 (on sale for $4)

This is a coconut bio-cellulose mask that contains cranberries found in the Arctic tundra. In my opinion, bio-cellulose masks have the best fit and adherence (and they're the most fun to use). The essence feels like gel and leaves a little bit of sticky residue because the formula doesn't completely sink into the skin. That said, my face feels wonderfully plump and hydrated after use.

Purpletale 5 Steps to Lovely Skin Complete Facial Solution - Value $7.95

I have received this from previous subscription boxes before and I love it so much! It is an all-in-one skincare kit that includes foam cleanser, ampoule, face cream, and neck cream in foil sample sizes, plus a sheet mask. The five steps are labeled clearly so that there is no confusion about the order.

First, the cleanser produces dense lather and gives me a squeaky clean, friction-y feeling that's rather uncomfortable. It's my least favorite of the five but it gets the job done. Next, the ampoule feels thick at first but once dried it leaves skin smooth, nourished, and without residual stickiness. After that is the sheet mask. It is a two-piece bio-cellulose mask that clings to my face like second skin. Its essence is a little gooey but it absorbs well and doesn't leave my face sticky after use. Finally, both the face cream and neck cream smell amazing and absorb quickly without leaving any residual stickiness.

Aside from the squeaky cleanser, I love the fragrance and non-sticky formula of this skincare kit. This is great to bring to a weekend excursion when you don't want to carry too much skincare.

SNP Bird's Nest Sheet Mask - Value $3

Here is a PinkSeoul classic! This is a cotton sheet mask that contains bird's nest extract, which is rich in nutrients. The mask has a strong fragrance that lingers for much of my wear. The mask fit is great on me and the essence does not feel sticky afterward.

Leaders Amino Series Pore-Tight Mask - Value $3

This is the Amino line of Leaders cotton sheet masks. Aside from mask-specific key ingredients, this series contains 17 types of amino acids that help to moisturize, protect, and soothe the skin. All three masks provide plenty of hydration and keep residual stickiness after use to a minimum.

The Pore-Tight mask contains tea tree oil and zinc PCA to help calm and control excess sebum. Tea tree oil is an essential oil known for its antibacterial and acne-fighting properties. Thankfully, this mask doesn't have the pungent scent of concentrated tea tree oil.

Leaders Amino Series Clearing Mask - Value $3

The Clearing Mask contains Vitamin C and lotus flower extract to protect skin from harmful environmental ingredients and create clear skin.

Leaders Amino Series AC-Free Mask - Value $3

The AC-Free mask contains AHA, BHA, and snail mucin. When you see "AC" in the title it is usually targeted for acne or "troubled" skin. AHAs and BHAs are chemical exfoliants that are known for evening out skin tone and improving clogged skin. Hence, these are good for oily or acne-prone skin like mine.

SNP Dragon (Soothing) Mask - Value $4 (on sale for $3)

This is a sheet mask with an Eastern dragon face print. It contains coconut water, licorice root extract, and knotweed extract for calming and soothing properties. The fit is average, as you can tell from the photo. The material is stiffer than regular sheet masks. Therefore, it doesn't adhere to my skin as well as I want. The watery essence absorbs quickly after use, leaving a slight stickiness on my skin.

I look (and feel) ridiculous, but it sure is fun to take selfies with it on! It's not the best mask ever but I would do it again for the novelty.

Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Bija Mask - Value $1.20

Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Green Tea Mask - Value $1.20

I am a longtime lover of Innisfree It's Real Squeeze sheet masks. The Bija mask contains torreya oil to help clear the skin, while the Green Tea mask contains green tea extract to hydrate the skin. The cotton mask is thin, which translates to a comfortable fit. Both masks contain watery essence, which is my preferred consistency. Both leave my face moisturized and glowing after use.

Nature Republic Aloe Mask Sheet - Listed Value $1.61

This cotton sheet mask contains aloe for hydrating, soothing, and healing properties. The mask fit is decent and the essence provides plenty of moisture. Residual essence absorbs quickly after I remove the mask, but it does leave skin sticky.

CosRx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence sample

CosRx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask sample

Included in the box are two foil samples from CosRx. The Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence is an essence of medium-thick, stringy consistency. It contains 96% snail mucin, which has an assortment of beneficial properties for the skin. The Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask contains 85% propolis extract and beeswax, which provide anti-bacterial, soothing, moisturizing, and anti-inflammatory properties. The cream is scentless and lightweight and doesn't feel sticky at all.

Verdict: PinkSeoul always knocks it out of the park in terms of curation. The total retail value for this box is about $38, which is higher than the cost of the subscription. Ironically, my favorite item this time isn't any sheet mask but the reusable tote! I think it's a fun and practical addition to any box.
