The Oxford Trunk is an online boutique that sells very funky ladies' clothing and accessories. I love their style! Their monthly mystery box gives you a choice among:

  • Boho, preppy, girlie, and classic styles
  • Large (3-5 items with a retail value of at least $85) or small (1-2 items with a retail value of at least $30, no clothing)
  • Pierced ears or non-pierced

This month there was no literature included in the box.

Just as a note, these are items that The Oxford Trunk does not carry on its website usually, so I don't have any basis for providing links or retail values usually. I have heard that they send a lot of their sample items, which would make sense, but I have no way of knowing if that's true or not.

Secret Box Necklace

This is a really pretty necklace. Apparently, it's also dipped in 14K gold! That's pretty fancy! I like the crystals in the pendant, too.

Gold Cutout Ring

I think this is a ring, haha. I have seen rings like this before, but do I just have short fingers? It extends past the joint, is that normal? I don't know what else this might be, but in any case, it's gorgeous! I love how delicate and intricate it is.

Columbus Ring

This ring features channel set cubic zirconia. It's not adjustable, thus, it is a pinky ring on me. It's very fine! I like it!

Verdict: I love The Ox Box! This month's pieces were all beautiful! I also think this is may be the fanciest set of jewelry I have ever received from Ox Box! I never know the value of the pieces, so I just have to decide if I think the package was worth $20. This month's value seems like it was really good! Three pieces for $20!

Could the gold cutout ring actually be a scarf ring?

That’s what I was thinking too! Even if that wasn’t it’s original intention. It would be beautiful.

Thank you so much, vane! That means the world to me. I’m not much of a photographer, but I have been trying really hard for quite a while now to take better pictures.

The cut out ring might be a midi ring to wear on the middle joint of your finger. Try your middle finger possibly. Very cute necklace!
