Manyo Factory Herb Green Cleansing Oil 20 ml - Value $3
This cleansing oil contains tea tree, almond, jojoba, sage, rosemary leaf, lavender, and green tea seed oil! It's strongly scented (smells mostly of tea tree to me) but I love how it takes off my makeup with ease. It emulsifies quickly with water, leaving my skin perfectly clean with zero oiliness. Just a small amount is needed, too, so the sample lasts for a while.
V10 Plus Skin Perfecting Serum 2 ml samples - Total Value $39.20
V10 Plus is a Japanese skincare brand that's new to me! They offer a line of serums that are formulated to address specific skincare concerns. All serums are made in Japan and free of parabens, artificial color, or chemical fragrances. Full-sized 1-ounce bottles retail for $98, which gives the six samples a whopping $39.20 in total value. This is my version of liquid gold.
The formulation is different for each serum, but the general consistency is a lightweight watery gel. They are scentless, absorb into my skin quickly, and leave zero to minimal tackiness. I don't foresee full-size bottles in my future, but I'll definitely make the most of these foil packets.
When The Last Choice Sheet Mask - Value $7
While When masks are on the pricier side, I definitely notice the difference in quality. This is a bio-cellulose mask, which is made of a thin, almost latex-like gel that adheres nicely on the face. It is protected by two films, so you have to peel those off before applying to the face. The essence feels slightly thicker than water and dries to a soft, matte finish. After use, my skin looks beautifully plump, soft, and bright! There is no sticky residue either, which is perfect.
Wei Beauty Five Sacred Grains Rapid Glow Milk 1 oz - Value $7.16
I recognize the Wei brand but have never tried anything from them before. Therefore, I'm so happy 3B included this in their box! This "milk" is essentially a toner and essence in one. It contains their proprietary "Five Sacred Grains" complex made of rice, millet, sorghum, Job’s Tears, and black soybean to hydrate, soften, and brighten the skin. I use this after my toner as a light moisturizing layer, and it's suitable for both day and night routines. I like how it absorbs quickly, leaving skin moist but smooth.
CosRx Pimple Acne Master Patch - Value $4
Pimple patches have seriously changed my life. For the uninitiated, these are hydrocolloid bandages specially cut into various sizes perfect for placing on top of cystic acne. They are great for decreasing the severity of inflamed bumps and absorbing pus from open acne wounds. I have a habit of touching my face, especially pimples (I know, it's terrible), so not only do patches suck out yucky pimple stuff, but they also keep me from exacerbating my acne.
Verdict: Upon first glance, the box didn't seem like much, but this is one of my favorite months to date. I was very happy with every item, especially the Manyo Factory cleansing oil and When sheet mask. The total value is $60.36, which is largely due to the pricey V10 Plus samples. Not accounting for the samples, the total value is still more than the cost of the box. I think 3B Box has definitely stepped up their game in terms of sending new and unique products. I'm excited to see what else is in store.
