Allure Beauty Box Review – January 2017 + $5 Coupon

I received this box yesterday! I signed up for Allure in late January because of this review. Everything arrived in great condition. I was not missing a thing, the only difference was the mask. I got “I woke like this”, which I am getting in my Ipsy bag this month. I really like these masks and the whole box!

I still haven’t received the January box. I chatted with them today and was told it would be 2-3 more weeks. They wouldn’t allow me to cancel because it is processing.

I am always pretty pleased with my Allure box and really love this months offerings. For those of you who don’t seem to like the eyeshadow palette, try adding water to the shadows. I like the effect much better this way. I always get a shipping confirmation and my box comes like clockwork. I don’t know why some people have trouble. Maybe some shipping factors have to do with where you live? I am in Colorado, an hour north of Denver. Best to everyone!

I just got my box yesterday and it was missing the Burts Bees lipsticks and the exfoliator. I’m super bummed. I emailed them, but I haven’t heard very good things about their customer service so I am a little nervous.

Why do I feel like I’m the only person that gets their boxes literally the last 3 days of the month ): Funny enough, my box came with an extra brush (I got 2 of the same though). I can’t tell if that’s an accident or if it was on purpose lol.

This is the box I’ve subbed to the longest — it’ll be a full two years next month. Because of that, I think some of the thrill is gone. The only thing I liked in this box was the face mask, but I will give the lipstick a try once I run out of the 200 I’ve already got open. 😀 I’ve always really loved this box, but I think I’ll let it go after my $10/mo Black Friday deal runs out in May, especially knowing we’re going to keep getting more Doucce eyeshadows. Nooo!

The whole box is good, but I am OBSESSED with the Burt’s Bees lipstick. I would never have guessed this would be my Holy Grail.

My Jan box finally arrived today, Jan 28th. Better late than never. Happy with the contents.

I cannot for the life of me figure out where the button/option is for “chat” with them. 🙁 Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Still haven’t received my Jan box! This is getting ridiculous. It was sent from ny to Chicago where it stayed for 3 days before usps picked it up and there’s no delivery date estimate yet for it to get to the west coast. I hope it’s worth the wait!

Meh to the box. The value was reached and more which I will always appreciate about Allure but I am used to them wowing me with at least one item in the box. Something that I am impressed with and that they included in the box. This time wasn’t much hype for me. I got the Burts Bees in another box (Good lipstick by the way), face masks bore me to tears, the eyeshadow palette is cool but again *yawn* and the eye shadow brush….*shrugs*. I still love Allure though and will keep this subscription.

I wish I had signed up now when they had the BF deal. Maybe they’ll do another good deal soon… Flash sale, Allure?? *hint hint* 😉

I wasn’t super-excited by the spoilers, but I actually like this box a lot. I’m excited to try out the Dr. Brandt, and I think I’ll wear the Burts Bees lipstick more often than I’d wear another bright red lip stain (at least now with my dry winter lips).

Btw, Allure sent out another Doucce eyeshadow single in the October box, so you could always switch that in if you want a warm color option.

I signed up today hoping to get the January box. After chatting with customer service, it depends if they still have January boxes left. Not in love with February’s, but we’ll see.

I love my Allure box this month. I’m a bit disappointed though as my palette arrived with 2 out of the 4 eye shadows were all broken. Maybe I’ll let them know and see what happens. Allure has never disappointed me yet!

Just got my box in the mail. Such a great collection of items, and the price point is unbelievable! Thrilled with the eye shadows and lipstick – LOVE that the box full of WEARABLE colours!!

I received the January box yesterday. I did not get a shipping email however. It just showed up. They also sent the replacement items from September. The Grande primer and estee lauder. I have been really happy with all their boxes since November. I am glad I resubscribed for the BTBF deal for 6 months for $10.

Did your eyeshadow come with an applicator in the palette? (Not the brush in the card)

I got my box yesterday and it was great except that the Sigma Eye Shadow Brush card came without a brush! I guess it fell out before they put it in my box. Kind of funny.

I got my January box yesterday and the eyeshadow palette was broken and powder was everywhere. I called Allure CS and told them what happened and they are sending out a whole new box! Yay! Hopefully this was will come intact.
