I did put myself on the waiting list for this. This’ll be my first dash, as I thought I never needed a dash before, but this obviously is a need, *shakes head and laughs at self* I am excited about this though, but will not be pushing the button every time I want chocolate. I think I’ll hide this on myself!

ERMAHGERD. A button that sends you chocolate on-demand? This has made my world veeeeerrrrryy dangerous.

I thought the price was high, am trying to cut back on sweets after holiday weight gain, and prefer picking my own for $18 each time. But i was hesitant about Prime also, but with the streaming movies and the new Prime reading (i got alot of books on my reading list), i think its a good deal.

Curious to see reviews. Love artisinal chocolate, but I can easily get that near me for much less. Not sure if this is that great a deal…

We just got off the waitlist – we should hopefully have a box and a review up soon! 🙂

How long did it take you to get off the wait list? I’m a Prime Member and haven’t heard back.

JC

Awesome, Liz! I just signed up for the waitlist today, can’t wait to hear what you think of it! The email they sent me said it wouldn’t be too long, yay! Love fine chocolates…

Holly

Oh, damn–put myself on the waitlist, and then noticed you’re supposed to have an Android or Smartphone to use it. I work at home and have no need for either of those, so I guess maybe this won’t work for me.

Maybe I’m not understanding this clearly. Do they really send you a treat box every time you click the dash button? My fear with that is I have 3 young kids and I could see myself forgetting to put this dash button up and my kids ordering about 30 of them! Do they have any safety guards in place where you have to put in a password or do something through my Amazon account before it will be purchased? I could do a couple boxes a month, but I don’t wanna go broke on yummy chocolate lol!

If the button was already pressed, it won’t work again until after the box is delivered. Hope it helps.

Great update/tease/reason for sweets craving, Liz!
Signed up earlier today and my husband and I are very excited. Of COURSE we would love to see reviews.

The prospect of this little button in our home is as exciting as it is “dangerous” and we can’t wait to discover new favorites! My husband and I love to find new small batch and unique sweets.

We (I mean “I”) may need the dash button to be locked up in a box with a within a box within lockbox out of my reach within another box but we are still thrilled!

Wondering if I can order a second for MY office upstairs! 🙂
Thanks Again!

It might seem like a lot of money but if you’ve ever shopped at Dylan’s Candy Bar or Lolli and Pops than it doesn’t seem out of line for quality sweets plus free shipping. I am excited to see what comes!

Can’t use the Dash buttons without a smartphone (or some way to use an app). So I’m out.

Thanks Liz for the info on this- otherwise I don’t think I would have seen it. I signed up and hope I can get in on the deal!

I stopped eating junk chocolate because it’s not worth the calories or the expense. But Artisanal chocolate is worth it to me!

I swear when I’m feeling tired or blue, a cup of good hot cocoa or a chunk of a fancy candy bar improves my mood within a half hour!

Please review! Liz – curious as to how one finds out about these Prime offers like the beauty box and sample boxes? As a Prime user they don’t seem to appear in newsletters or anything co without MSA how would one know? Thanks for all you do!

Maria

I was wondering the exact same thing! Would love to find out how to receive notifications.

Another Prime member with the same question…

Virginia

I went to Amazon to see the boxes and most of the items looked really yummy. I just can’t see spending $18 for three regular size and one small size sweets. Not to mention the fact that I am not a Prime member.

I love sweets and I just dumped Treatsie for really bad service and communication, so I’m ready for something new. However, WHY does everything sold by Amazon has to associated with Prime? I don’t order enough from them to justify free shipping, nor do I stream music or TV, so $99/year is a waste for me. Oh well, I don’t need more goodies anyway.

Marissa

I’m a student and it’s half price. Also you get one pre-release ebook a month, tons of music free (many classics and current top artists), the movies section is eh but the TV shows are pretty great and free too! Also as a prime member if you defer shipping to no rush you get $1 back to spend on all ebooks/music/movies etc. I got all the Halloweentown movies in October for free that way 😉 hope that helps! It’s not for everyone but I sure have loved it. I had a free trial of 6 months but I’m definitely staying for another few years (member of two years so far)

And don’t forget Prime Pantry for your grocery delivery needs. Prime paid for itself for us in under 2 months, just in shipping saved alone.

monah

Agree! I’m in the same situation. I order from Amazon a lot but the prime membership isn’t a good value for me.

waitlisted! Couldnt stop myself

Well poop. Could this be the quickest that I have broken a New Years resolution? Dark chocolate is healthy right? That could justify this. 🙂

After a bad experience with the Amazon pet box, I am fearful of trying any of the similar offers through Amazon. The pet box was advertised as being able to use the credit towards dog food and treats/greenies, but the credit wouldn’t work towards anything but the dog food (which is not one that I feed my dog). I complained to Amazon twice and was eventually issued a credit for the original purchase.

I can think of about 5 reasons why I don’t need this but…..I want it. I signed up. This will be my first Dash.

I love this! What a cool idea! This looks like it could be similar to Treatsie. I really loved Treatsie when it first started. Nutwhats were one of my favorite discoveries.

I must have this!
