All Dressed Ruffles
All dressed chips have become a staple in these boxes, which is totally fine with me. I love them! They're the perfect savory chip in my opinion - salty with tons of flavor!
Poutine Ruffles
I'm a fan of poutine but not a fan of these chips. They had an odd flavor that was pretty 'meaty.' Hopefully, the rest of the subscribers enjoy these more than I did!
Miss Vickie's Sweet Chili and Sour Cream Kettle Cooked Chips
I wasn't a huge fan of these chips either. The texture was great - I always like thicker cut chips - but something about the chili and the sour cream just wasn't doing it for me!
Old Dutch Ketchup Chips
Get Canucked introduced me to the world of ketchup chips and I will never be the same. I really love them! They're more tomato-y than ketchup-y to me, which is exactly why I love them so. Tomatoes and I are BFFLs.
Lay's Dill Pickle Chips
Dill pickle anything is generally a win in my book. I love the salty, tangy taste of dill pickles and the flavor works so well with these chips!
Here's a look at each chip I received this month.
Cadbury Mini Eggs
We have these here in the States too but I will always accept another package of them. These are delicious and reminiscent of Easter for certain!
Maynards Wine Gums
Contrary to popular belief - these do not have wine in them. They are chewy candies that are flavored with various fruit flavoring.
Here's a glance at the product - I didn't really enjoy the wine gums - they were a little harder than I expected and the flavor wasn't strong enough for me!
Cadbury Crunchie Candy Bar
This candy bar has sponge toffee inside, with a milk chocolate coating. I really enjoyed it quite a bit. The nice crunch from the toffee really complimented the milk chocolate well!
Cadbury Flake Candy Bar
Trying to photograph this on a white backdrop was a nightmare (you'll see the texture of it below), it was so flaky and it got everywhere when I opened it. I decided I didn't like it at that moment, but then I tried it! It's delicious. It's really odd, all of the layers of chocolate create this magical texture...it's really quite something! Apparently, this is a more U.K. inspired treat this month, which I definitely enjoyed.
Oh Henry with Reese Peanut Butter
Seriously, this was my favorite item in the box this month. I've received one of these in the past and loved it then as well. There's just something about the caramel, peanut butter, and chocolate that creates magical things!
Nestle Coffee Crisp
Another of my favorites this month! Coffee Crisps cannot be beaten. I love the texture, flavor, and size of these bars... there's enough for three portions at least. When they're rare to find in the United States, those kinds of things matter more!
Here's a look at each candy bar I received this month.
Verdict: This month's Get Canucked was awesome. I loved all of the treats, with the exception of the wine gums, and the balance between sweet and savory was quite nice as well. As far as value goes, I received 11 items for $25.00, making each cost approximately $2.27. That does seem a little high but the candy bars this month were pretty large, as were the chips. I am pleased with the value and the selection of products this month!
