Today (1/31) is the last day to subscribe to and customize your February 2017 GlobeIn Club subscription. In addition to your surprise item, you can also add-on items at a discount.

The Cost: $10 a month

The Product: "GlobeIn Club members will receive one artisan product (it can be anything from a mug to jewelry to home decor products) each month. In addition all club members can add more fair trade products to their monthly package (the “empowerment pack”) at exclusive, members-only prices (up to 50% OFF retail!) by going to their subscription settings.

Accidentally subscribed to artisan instead of club. How can I see if they refunded my money?

I’d subscribe to the globe in club if they didn’t threaten to send me a basket! I have enough of those!

I was just reading their FAQ and saw that they do offer an option to not receive a basket. It says you can “substitute a themed product for the basket in the Artisan Box. You can select this option in the subscription settings on your account from the 1st to the 5th of each month.”

I had been wondering the same! HTH!

But I believe that substitution is just for Artisan box subscribers when they do have a basket substitute available. The Club box doesn’t come with a basket at all unless the item they send that month happens to be a basket. If that’s the case, I think your only option would be to cancel and resubscribe later if you don’t want a basket since you don’t have the option to skip a month and have it automatically restart the next month with the Club subscription.

Are the add-on discounts only available to subscribers of GlobeIn Club and not GlobeIn Artisan Box subscribers? I just signed up for a 3-month sub to the Artisan Box and this isn’t clear to me. Thank you!

The items shown are for the Club subscription. As an Artisan box subscriber, you should be able to log in between the 1st-5th of the month and see discounted add-on items for that month’s Artisan box too (they are usually similar between the subs). After the 5th they “freeze” the items you chose, you will be billed for them and they will be shipped with that month’s box around the 20th (usually). The process is similar between the two subs…the cutoff and shipment dates are just different. So try looking tomorrow and you should hopefully see add-on choices for the Artisan box!

Thank you, LB! Do you subscribe to both? If so, what are your thoughts between the two? I only signed up for a 3-month sub to the Artisan Box, but I would consider the GlobeIn Club after since it’s only $10 a month, unless you find yourself getting stationary every month, lol.
