Nerdy Post is a monthly celebration of your favorite fandoms from TV, movies, and books. Every month, you'll get 5-7 handcrafted items centered around a different monthly fandom. The box isn't very flashy, but what's inside is so much fun. Nerdy Post also offers a Nerdy Tees option.
Everything you get in Nerdy Post is handmade by Alexis, Nerdy Post's creator. Here's what their site says:
"...we wanted to provide unique, high-quality designs that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Hand lettering and illustrating these designs means that nothing is created using fonts or stock images from a computer. Designs are of course digitized in order to be printed on the products, but they will retain their hand-crafted quality."

Every box has a theme, typically centered around a fandom. This month's theme is "Fantastic Beasts" in honor of the new film in the Harry Potter universe! Alexis, the artist, explains her process in this lovely letter, which appears on the back of a handbill-sized card.
Newt Scamander Quote Design
On the reverse side of Alexis's note, there's a handsome print of a Newt Scamander quote. Alexis does a great job of featuring quotes that have a wider appeal, as well as ones that are more relevant to hardcore fans. This quote would look nice hung next to my door in my foyer—you know, sort of a pep talk before heading out for the day!
Fantastic Beasts Poster
I'm often in awe of how Alexis weaves text and illustration together in such beautiful ways. I love the colors and the energy of this poster, which comes rolled up so there aren't any weird creases.
The text looks equal parts austere and fantastical. I love how the gold outline matches the radiant yellow hues in the creatures in the print.
Bookmark
As Alexis mentions in her note, each Nerdy Post box has a bookmark for one of the different Ilvermorny Houses. How cool!
On the back, there's an illustration of the qualities that house values most of all. I love the crisp, yet still playful design here. And I'm honored to have been "sorted" into this house by Nerdy Post!
Coloring Postcard
Nerdy Post always includes a matte postcard that you can color to your heart's content. The design changes with every theme. I, for one, see all the creativity in this box, and I get eager to create something myself, too. So this postcard is the perfect mini creative project for me!
And on the back, of course, there's a traditional postcard layout. Do you have a fellow fan who'd appreciate this postcard?
Double-Sided Quote Design
Next up is this handbill-sized card with two—count 'em—two prints for the price of one! This ode to a fantastical cocktail has a sketchier vibe that I usually don't see in Alexis's designs. I think it's very cute, but it's not something I'm instantly thinking about displaying.
On the other side, there's this pretty robin's egg blue design of a conversation between Jacob Kowalski and Newt. I like the art-deco style text and the playful colors. I don't know if I'm a big enough Fantastic Beasts fan to frame or show off this quote anywhere, but I bet bigger fans would be excited to tuck this quote into their decor and see if other fans take note!
Sticker
Like the bookmark, this sticker was packed into my box at random. I love this little Bowtruckle! According to Alexis's note, each sticker was designed by Stina Wulfe especially for Nerdy Post. I'm a nature lover, so I feel a special kinship with this creature, who guards wand wood trees. The sticker isn't the stickiest, but the texture is velvety smooth. It feels like such a high-quality sticker for something custom created.
Notebook
This notebook borrows some fun tropes from the story, including Newt's "Muggle Worthy" lock on his suitcase! The cover is just paper, but the print makes it look like vintage leather.
Inside the front cover, there's a little scribbling on a page that's been designed to look like old parchment. This is a thoughtful little touch that makes you feel like you're peeking into Newt's work.
The back cover has a Ministry of Magic classification on it!
The back mimics the same leather look from the front.
Button
This little button is so cute! Adorable details, like feathers, horns, and talons decorate Newt's job title. It's so unique and adorable. Imagine wearing this on the lapel of a vintage velvet blazer!
Verdict: I thought this Nerdy Post was adorable! The box is only $13.95 a month, so each item is, on average, about $1.74. That's totally fair for these beautiful, utterly original items. Also, the box guarantees 7 pieces, but this box included 8 if you count the designed quote on the info card. That's so lovely! I'm always impressed by the work that Alexis puts into this box, and I love seeing what each month has in store!
