There is a new candle subscription box from Nest Fragrances, and of course I had to subscribe immediately. (I love their candles!)

Each month you'll receive a classic candle, a votive candle, and one surprise item - all in the same scent!

This packaging is fantastic. It's a high-end gift box that you'll definitely want to keep and re-use. (And if you are thinking about buying this subscription as a gift, it's already perfectly wrapped each month!)

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes

January's fragrance is Sicilian Tangerine.

Now, onto the items!

next-by-nest-fragrances-january-2017-0010

Sicilian Tangerine Classic Candle - Value $40

next-by-nest-fragrances-january-2017-0012

As always, the packaging of Nest Candles is stunning! (I do miss the unique winter boxes and vessels, though!)

And the scent is described as "Sicilian tangerine and bergamot entwined with exotic mango and passionfruit." To me, its fresh, summery, and citrusy. Maybe not a scent I'd pick for January, but I'm still using my Nest holiday candles!

And with this subscription, in addition to the large candle (50-60 burn time), you also get a mini votive candle in the same scent:

Sicilian Tangerine Votive Candle - Value $16

This has a 20-hour burn time and the same glass and box design as the larger candle. Either of these candles would make a lovely gift - if you are willing to part with them!

And each month will also include a surprise gift:

next-by-nest-fragrances-january-2017-0013

Nest Travel Set - Value $20?

next-by-nest-fragrances-january-2017-0014

I'm guessing on the value for this. (From what I can tell it is an exclusive to the box!)

next-by-nest-fragrances-january-2017-0015

Sicilian Tangerine Shampoo

next-by-nest-fragrances-january-2017-0017

Sicilian Tangerine Conditioner

next-by-nest-fragrances-january-2017-0021

Sicilian Tangerine Body Wash

next-by-nest-fragrances-january-2017-0019

Sicilian Tangerine Body Cream

next-by-nest-fragrances-january-2017-0023

Sicilian Tangerine Bath Bar

This set might be my favorite surprise item yet - I love that everything you need for the shower is the same citrusy scent! (And now I'm wondering if Nest supplies toiletries to hotels - if you've ever seen these in a hotel, let me know!)

Verdict: I'm very happy with my latest month of Next by Nest Fragrances. I've recommended this subscription as a gift many times, too - it feels so special every month!

This box has a value of $76. I think that's good for a $56 subscription, and that's not including the value of the box itself.

What do you think of the January Next by Nest Fragrances box? What's your favorite scent so far?

I cant wait to start my new job so I can subscribe to this and a few other boxes. I’ve wanted every Nest box that’s been reviewed. They’re so pretty and smell divine. And if they aren’t my favorite smell, perfect for gifting!

Oh, next month is Moroccan Amber. I buy that scent in their lotion and soap and would love candles too!

I want this sub!

Me too!

This sub is a Nest fragrance subscription for $56 and it doesn’t come with an actual fragrance bottle? wow…

Kate

It’s a candle subscription, not a fragrance subscription. That’s explained in the description of the box at the start of the review.

This is not on my list of 2017 sub boxes but I so want it.

Was the “surprise gift” a one time thing? I just went to the website and for the Next subscription it states that each box will contain one large candle and one votive. It doesn’t mention anything about a surprise gift, and, it shows pictures of the upcoming boxes for the next 3 months, and each shows just the 2 candles. I was interested in this if it included a special “extra” in each box…but if it’s just going to be the two candles that have the same RV as the cost of the sub, I think I’d rather just choose my own scent each month. Does anyone have additional info on this? Thanks!

It’s in the Next by Nest FAQ:

Every month has a surprise gift.

I didn’t see it at first when I was signing up again and was concerned too. It was in the fine print when I checked out though. I don’t think there would be a reason for the box without it.

The Boardwalk Inn at Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms SC uses Nest in the bathrooms.

I just stayed at a managed resort in Sunriver, Oregon and they had the Moss and Rain line of Nest toiletries. I really enjoyed their toiletries 😊

I just signed up for another 3 months. These candles burn forever! they also sent me a $25
coupon code for being an early next subscriber. This is a great box if you like candles. I also bought a diffuser too.

When I stayed at the Bellagio in Las Vegas I believe they had Nest products in the bathroom. Always happy when hotels have awesome products to take home! This box seems great! Too bad I really don’t need any more candles…

I already wanted to stay at the Bellagio… but now I HAVE to! I’m a sucker for fabulous toiletries 🙂
